Moses gave to them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and to the half- tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan; the land, according to its cities and borders, even the cities of the surrounding land.

Then Moses gave to the Gadites, the Reubenites and the half-tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan— the whole land with its cities and the territory around them.

Then Moses gave their land to them. He gave it to the tribes of Gad and Reuben and half of the tribe of Manasseh. Manasseh was Joseph’s son. One part of that land had belonged to the kingdom of Sihon. He was the king of the Amorites. The other part had belonged to the kingdom of Og. He was the king of Bashan. Moses gave that whole land to those two and a half tribes. It included its cities and the territory around them.

And Moses gave to them, to the people of Gad and to the people of Reuben and to the half-tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land and its cities with their territories, the cities of the land throughout the country.

So Moses assigned land to the tribes of Gad, Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph. He gave them the territory of King Sihon of the Amorites and the land of King Og of Bashan— the whole land with its cities and surrounding lands.

So Moses gave them— the Gadites, Reubenites, and half the tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph— the kingdom of King Sihon of the Amorites and the kingdom of King Og of Bashan, the land including its cities with the territories surrounding them.

So Moses gave to them, to the sons of Gad, the sons of Reuben, and to the half tribe of Joseph’s son Manasseh, the kingdom of Sihon, king of the Amorites and the kingdom of Og, the king of Bashan, the land with its cities with their territories, the cities of the surrounding land.

So Moses gave to the children of Gad, to the children of Reuben, and to half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land with its cities within the borders, the cities of the surrounding country.

And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto the half- tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, according to the cities thereof with their borders, even the cities of the land round about.

So Moses gave them— the Gadites, Reubenites, and half the tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph— the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land including its cities with the territories surrounding them.

And Moses gave unto them,[ even] to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts,[ even] the cities of the country round about.

So Moses gave to the Gadites, the Reubenites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph the realm of King Sihon of the Amorites, and the realm of King Og of Bashan, the entire land with its cities and the territory surrounding them.

Moses the servant of Yahweh and the children of Israel struck them. Moses the servant of Yahweh gave it for a possession to the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half- tribe of Manasseh.

This land we took in possession at that time: from Aroer, which is by the valley of the Arnon, and half the hill country of Gilead with its cities, I gave to the Reubenites and to the Gadites;and the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, the kingdom of Og, I gave to the half- tribe of Manasseh— all the region of Argob, even all Bashan.( The same is called the land of Rephaim.Jair the son of Manasseh took all the region of Argob, to the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and called them, even Bashan, after his own name, Havvoth Jair, to this day.)I gave Gilead to Machir.To the Reubenites and to the Gadites I gave from Gilead even to the valley of the Arnon, the middle of the valley, and its border, even to the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;the Arabah also, and the Jordan and its border, from Chinnereth even to the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, under the slopes of Pisgah eastward.

Now Yahweh your God has given rest to your brothers, as he spoke to them. Therefore now return and go to your tents, to the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of Yahweh gave you beyond the Jordan.

We took their land, and gave it for an inheritance to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half- tribe of the Manassites.

Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan. Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.Yahweh said to me,“ Don’t fear him; for I have delivered him, with all his people, and his land, into your hand. You shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.”So Yahweh our God delivered into our hand Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people. We struck him until no one was left to him remaining.We took all his cities at that time. There was not a city which we didn’t take from them: sixty cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.All these were cities fortified with high walls, gates, and bars, in addition to a great many villages without walls.We utterly destroyed them, as we did to Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying every inhabited city, with the women and the little ones.But all the livestock, and the plunder of the cities, we took for plunder for ourselves.We took the land at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, from the valley of the Arnon to Mount Hermon.

His brothers, men of valor, were two thousand seven hundred, heads of fathers’ households, whom king David made overseers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half- tribe of the Manassites, for every matter pertaining to God, and for the affairs of the king.

But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him; for Yahweh your God hardened his spirit and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into your hand, as it is today.Yahweh said to me,“ Behold, I have begun to deliver up Sihon and his land before you. Begin to possess, that you may inherit his land.”Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Jahaz.Yahweh our God delivered him up before us; and we struck him, his sons, and all his people.

Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of livestock. They saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead. Behold, the place was a place for livestock.

The sons of Reuben, the Gadites, and the half- tribe of Manasseh, of valiant men, men able to bear buckler and sword, and to shoot with bow, and skillful in war, were forty- four thousand seven hundred sixty, that were able to go out to war.

Sihon would not allow Israel to pass through his border, but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness, and came to Jahaz. He fought against Israel.Israel struck him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, even to the children of Ammon; for the border of the children of Ammon was fortified.Israel took all these cities. Israel lived in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all its villages.For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even to the Arnon.Therefore those who speak in proverbs say,“ Come to Heshbon. Let the city of Sihon be built and established;for a fire has gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon. It has devoured Ar of Moab, The lords of the high places of the Arnon.Woe to you, Moab! You are undone, people of Chemosh! He has given his sons as fugitives, and his daughters into captivity, to Sihon king of the Amorites.We have shot at them. Heshbon has perished even to Dibon. We have laid waste even to Nophah, Which reaches to Medeba.”Thus Israel lived in the land of the Amorites.Moses sent to spy out Jazer. They took its villages, and drove out the Amorites who were there.They turned and went up by the way of Bashan. Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.Yahweh said to Moses,“ Don’t fear him, for I have delivered him into your hand, with all his people, and his land. You shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.”So they struck him, with his sons and all his people, until there were no survivors; and they possessed his land.

for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers’ houses, the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers’ houses, and the half- tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance.

With him the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of Yahweh gave them:from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba to Dibon;and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, to the border of the children of Ammon;and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salecah;all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei( who was left of the remnant of the Rephaim); for Moses attacked these, and drove them out.Nevertheless the children of Israel didn’t drive out the Geshurites, nor the Maacathites: but Geshur and Maacath live within Israel to this day.Only he gave no inheritance to the tribe of Levi. The offerings of Yahweh, the God of Israel, made by fire are his inheritance, as he spoke to him.

Of the half- tribe of Manasseh: eighteen thousand, who were mentioned by name, to come and make David king.

and killed mighty kings; for his loving kindness endures forever:Sihon king of the Amorites; for his loving kindness endures forever;Og king of Bashan; for his loving kindness endures forever;and gave their land as an inheritance; for his loving kindness endures forever;

He struck many nations, and killed mighty kings,Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan,
