then when the land is subdued before the Lord, you may return and be free from your obligation to the Lord and to Israel. And this land will be your possession before the Lord.

When the land is under the Lord’ s control, you can come back here. Your duty to the Lord and Israel will be over. Then the Lord will give you this land as your own.

迨爾兄弟得主爾之天主所賜彼約但西之地、使之享安息與爾無異、然後爾方可返我所賜爾之地、各歸其業、

瑪拿西又有半支派、與流便迦得二支派、已得其業、即主之僕摩西在約但東所予之地、

迨主賜安於爾兄弟、與爾無異、並獲主爾之天主所賜之之地、然後可歸爾曹所得之地、即主之僕摩西在約但東所予爾者、據而有之、

約書亞一時敗諸王而取其地、蓋主以色列之天主、為以色列人戰也、

以色列會眾集於示羅、以會幕立於彼、斯地皆為其所服、服或作獲

於是約書亞循主所諭摩西之命、取此全地、賜以色列人為業、循其支派之家族、此後斯地息戰、

我儕當時既得斯地、我摩西遂以地予流便人迦得人、始自亞嫩溪濱之亞羅珥邑、又予之以基列山之半、及其所有之邑、基列餘地、及巴珊全地、即噩王之國、我以之予瑪拿西半支派、亞珥歌伯境、與巴珊全地、昔稱為利乏音地、瑪拿西後裔睚珥、得亞珥歌伯全境、至基述瑪迦之交界、遂依己之名、稱此巴珊地、為睚珥諸村、又作稱此地為巴珊哈倭特睚珥至於今日、基列地我以之予瑪吉、基列之餘地、我以之予流便人迦得人、自亞嫩溪、以溪中為界、直至亞捫界之雅博溪、亦予之以亞拉巴、沿約但河之地、從基尼列至亞拉巴之海、即鹽海、及毘斯迦山麓以東之地、當時我諭爾曹得斯地之人曰、主爾之天主、既以斯地賜爾為業、爾中所有戰士必執器械、在爾同族同族原文作兄弟以色列人前先往、

凡出爾家門往外者、若遇害、死由自取、死由自取原文作其血必歸于其首我儕無辜、惟與爾在家者、有人害之、罪則歸我、罪則歸我原文作其血必歸我之首

在彼前驅逐異邦人、以繩量地、分之為業、使以色列支派、得處於異邦人之居所、

摩西賜業於瑪拿西半支派、瑪拿西半支派、循其宗族、所得之地記於下、其境自瑪哈念、巴珊全地、即巴珊王噩之通國、與巴珊境內睚珥諸村、共六十處、又基列地之半、及亞斯他錄、以得來、即巴珊王噩之二都城、俱歸瑪拿西子瑪吉後裔之半、循其宗族、以上所載之地、乃摩西在約但東、摩押平原、耶利哥相對之處、所予民為業者、

後、大衛聞之曰、流尼珥子押尼珥之血、我與我國在主前永無辜、

主以立拿與其王、付於以色列人手、約書亞擊之以刃、殺其中所有之人、一無所留、待立拿王、如昔待耶利哥王然、
