Then Moses said to them,“ If you will do this— if you will arm yourselves before the Lord for battle

摩西對他們說：「你們若要這麼做，若要在耶和華面前帶着兵器出去打仗，

摩西對他們說：「你們若要這麼做，若要在耶和華面前帶着兵器出去打仗，

摩西說：「如果你們信守承諾，拿起兵器在耶和華面前出戰，

摩西對他們說：“如果你們這樣行，在耶和華面前武裝起來去作戰，

於是摩西對他們說：『你們若這樣行，若在永恆主面前武裝起來、去爭戰，

摩西曰、若爾如是而行、執兵為戰於耶和華前、

摩西曰、如爾濟約但河、預備以戰、遵耶和華命、

摩西謂之曰、若爾如是行、持器械於主前出戰、

Then Moses said to them,“ Do what you have promised to do. Get ready to fight for the Lord.

So Moses said to them,“ If you will do this, if you will take up arms to go before the Lord for the war,

Then Moses said,“ If you keep your word and arm yourselves for the Lord’s battles,

Moses replied to them,“ If you do this— if you arm yourselves for battle before the LORD,

So Moses said to them,“ If you will do this, if you will arm yourselves before the Lord for the war,

Then Moses said to them:“ If you do this thing, if you arm yourselves before the Lord for the war,

And Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if ye will arm yourselves to go before Jehovah to the war,

Moses replied to them,“ If you do this— if you arm yourselves for battle before the Lord,

And Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if ye will go armed before the LORD to war,

Then Moses replied,“ If you will do this thing, and if you will arm yourselves for battle before the LORD,

Moses said to them:“ If you will do this thing, if you will arm yourselves to go before Yahweh to the war,

The men of Reuben, Gad and the half- tribe of Manasseh crossed over, ready for battle, in front of the Israelites, as Moses had directed them.About forty thousand armed for battle crossed over before the Lord to the plains of Jericho for war.

“ Remember the command that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you after he said,‘ The Lord your God will give you rest by giving you this land.’Your wives, your children and your livestock may stay in the land that Moses gave you east of the Jordan, but all your fighting men, ready for battle, must cross over ahead of your fellow Israelites. You are to help themuntil the Lord gives them rest, as he has done for you, and until they too have taken possession of the land the Lord your God is giving them. After that, you may go back and occupy your own land, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you east of the Jordan toward the sunrise.”

and said to them,“ You have done all that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded, and you have obeyed me in everything I commanded.For a long time now— to this very day— you have not deserted your fellow Israelites but have carried out the mission the Lord your God gave you.Now that the Lord your God has given them rest as he promised, return to your homes in the land that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you on the other side of the Jordan.

I commanded you at that time:“ The Lord your God has given you this land to take possession of it. But all your able- bodied men, armed for battle, must cross over ahead of the other Israelites.However, your wives, your children and your livestock( I know you have much livestock) may stay in the towns I have given you,until the Lord gives rest to your fellow Israelites as he has to you, and they too have taken over the land that the Lord your God is giving them across the Jordan. After that, each of you may go back to the possession I have given you.”
