Then Moses replied,“ If you will do this thing, and if you will arm yourselves for battle before the LORD,

摩西說：「如果你們信守承諾，拿起兵器在耶和華面前出戰，

摩西對他們說：“如果你們這樣行，在耶和華面前武裝起來去作戰，

於是摩西對他們說：『你們若這樣行，若在永恆主面前武裝起來、去爭戰，

摩西曰、若爾如是而行、執兵為戰於耶和華前、

摩西曰、如爾濟約但河、預備以戰、遵耶和華命、

摩西謂之曰、若爾如是行、持器械於主前出戰、

Then Moses said to them,“ If you will do this— if you will arm yourselves before the Lord for battle

Then Moses said to them,“ Do what you have promised to do. Get ready to fight for the Lord.

So Moses said to them,“ If you will do this, if you will take up arms to go before the Lord for the war,

Then Moses said,“ If you keep your word and arm yourselves for the Lord’s battles,

Moses replied to them,“ If you do this— if you arm yourselves for battle before the LORD,

So Moses said to them,“ If you will do this, if you will arm yourselves before the Lord for the war,

Then Moses said to them:“ If you do this thing, if you arm yourselves before the Lord for the war,

And Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if ye will arm yourselves to go before Jehovah to the war,

Moses replied to them,“ If you do this— if you arm yourselves for battle before the Lord,

And Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if ye will go armed before the LORD to war,

Moses said to them:“ If you will do this thing, if you will arm yourselves to go before Yahweh to the war,

The Reubenites, Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh crossed over armed for battle ahead of the Israelites, just as Moses had instructed them.About forty thousand battle-ready troops marched past the LORD to fight on the plains of Jericho.

“ Remember what Moses the LORD’s servant commanded you. The LORD your God is giving you a place to settle and is handing this land over to you.Your wives, children and cattle may stay in the land that Moses assigned to you east of the Jordan River. But all you warriors must cross over armed for battle ahead of your brothers. You must help themuntil the LORD gives your brothers a place like yours to settle and they conquer the land the LORD your God is ready to hand over to them. Then you may go back to your allotted land and occupy the land Moses the LORD’s servant assigned you east of the Jordan.”

and told them:“ You have carried out all the instructions of Moses the LORD’s servant, and you have obeyed all I have told you.You have not abandoned your fellow Israelites this entire time, right up to this very day. You have completed the task given you by the LORD your God.Now the LORD your God has made your fellow Israelites secure, just as he promised them. So now you may turn around and go to your homes in your own land which Moses the LORD’s servant assigned to you east of the Jordan.

At that time I instructed you as follows:“ The LORD your God has given you this land for your possession. You warriors are to cross over before your fellow Israelites equipped for battle.But your wives, children, and livestock( of which I know you have many) may remain in the cities I have given you.You must fight until the LORD gives your countrymen victory as he did you and they take possession of the land that the LORD your God is giving them on the other side of the Jordan River. Then each of you may return to his own territory that I have given you.”
