迦得子孫，按著家族，屬洗分的，有洗分家族；屬哈基的，有哈基家族；屬書尼的，有書尼家族；屬阿斯尼的，有阿斯尼家族；屬以利的，有以利家族；屬亞律的，有亞律家族；屬亞列利的，有亞列利家族。這些就是迦得子孫的各家族，按著他們各家族被數點的，共有四萬零五百人。

和亞伯蘭同行的羅得，也有羊群、牛群和帳棚。

利亞的婢女悉帕給雅各生了一個兒子。利亞說：“我真幸運。”給他起名叫迦得。

以色列的長子流本：流本的子孫，屬哈諾的，有哈諾家族；屬法路的，有法路家族；屬希斯倫的，有希斯倫家族；屬迦米的，有迦米家族。這些是流本的家族；他們被數點的，共有四萬三千七百三十人。

我必領以色列回到它的牧場，它必在迦密和巴珊吃草，又在以法蓮山地和基列地吃得飽足。

他們的境界包括雅謝和基列所有的城，以及亞捫人的一半土地，直到拉巴前面的亞羅珥；

羅得舉目，看見約旦河整個平原，直到瑣珥，都有水灌溉；在耶和華毀滅所多瑪和蛾摩拉之前，這地好像耶和華的園子，也像埃及地一樣。羅得選擇了約旦河整個平原，於是向東移動，他們就彼此分開了。

他們又對法老說：“我們來是要在這地寄居，因為迦南地的饑荒嚴重，你僕人們的羊群沒有草吃，所以，現在求你容許你僕人住在歌珊地。”

“在南方，按著隊伍，是流本營的旗號；流本人的領袖是示丟珥的兒子以利蓿。他的隊伍被數點的，共有四萬六千五百人。在他旁邊安營的，是西緬支派；西緬人的領袖是蘇利沙代的兒子示路蔑。他的隊伍被數點的，共有五萬九千三百人。又有迦得支派；迦得人的領袖是丟珥的兒子以利雅薩。他的隊伍被數點的，共有四萬五千六百五十人。

求你用你的杖牧放你的子民，就是你產業的羊群，他們安然獨居在樹林裡，在佳美的田園中；願他們在巴珊和基列得著牧養，像古時一樣。

原來世上的一切，就如肉體的私慾，眼目的私慾和今生的驕傲，都不是出於父，而是從世界來的。

利亞懷孕，生了一個兒子，就給他起名叫流本，因為她說：“耶和華看見了我的苦情，現在我的丈夫必愛我了。”

亞伯蘭有很多牲畜和金銀。

又有混雜多族的一群人和他們一同上去；他們還帶著羊群牛群和無數的牲畜同去。
