All of them said to Moses,“ We have counted the soldiers under our command. Not a single one is missing.

and told him,“ Your servants have taken a census of the fighting men under our command, and not one of us is missing.

and they said to Moses,“ Your servants have taken a census of the men of war who are under our authority, and no man of us is missing.

and they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war that are under our charge, and there lacketh not one man of us.

He will redeem them from oppression and violence, for their lives are precious to him.

David got back everything the Amalekites had taken, and he rescued his two wives.Nothing was missing: small or great, son or daughter, nor anything else that had been taken. David brought everything back.

He did this to fulfill his own statement:“ I did not lose a single one of those you have given me.”
