From the Israelites’ half, Moses selected one out of every fifty people and animals, as the Lord commanded him, and gave them to the Levites, who were responsible for the care of the Lord’s tabernacle.

Moses chose one out of every 50 people and animals. He gave them to the Levites. They were accountable for taking care of the Lord’ s holy tent. Moses did just as the Lord had commanded him.

弟兄姊妹，我劝你们要敬重那些在你们当中辛勤工作、在主里领导和劝诫你们的人。因为他们的工作，你们要怀着爱心格外敬重他们。你们要彼此和睦相处。

以色列的守望者瞎眼无知，是不会叫的哑巴狗，只喜欢躺下睡觉做梦。这些人就像贪吃的狗，不知饱足，又像什么都不懂的牧人，人人各行其是，追求自己的利益。

不可在你们的城里吃十一奉献的谷物、新酒和油、头生的牛羊、还愿祭、自愿献的祭和举祭；要在你们的上帝耶和华选定的地方，与儿女、仆婢及同城的利未人一起在耶和华面前吃。要为你们所做的一切，在你们的上帝耶和华面前欢喜快乐。切记，只要你们还住在自己的土地上，就不可忘记利未人。

“我要把以色列人出产的十分之一赐给利未人作产业，作为他们在会幕司职的酬劳。今后以色列人不可走近会幕，以免因犯罪而死。只有利未人可在会幕司职，他们要担负触犯圣幕的罪责，这是你们世世代代要遵守的条例。利未人在以色列人中不可有产业，因为我已经把以色列人给耶和华的十分之一出产赐给他们作产业。因此，我吩咐他们不可在以色列人中有产业。”

夜间在耶和华殿中事奉的仆人们啊，你们都要称颂耶和华。

事后，主拣选了七十个门徒，差遣他们两个两个地出去，先到祂将要去的城镇村庄，并对他们说：“要收割的庄稼很多，工人却很少，因此你们要祈求庄稼的主人派更多的工人去收割祂的庄稼。“你们去吧！我差你们出去，就像把羊羔送入狼群。钱袋、背包和鞋都不要带，在路上也不要与人寒暄。无论到哪一户人家，要先说，‘愿祝福临到这家！’如果那里有配得祝福的人，祝福自然会临到那人，否则祝福仍归给你们。不要搬来搬去，要固定住在一家，接受那家的款待，因为工人理应得到工钱。“你们无论到哪一个城镇，如果人们接待你们，就吃他们摆上的饮食。
