From the Israelites’ half, select one out of every fifty, whether people, cattle, donkeys, sheep or other animals. Give them to the Levites, who are responsible for the care of the Lord’s tabernacle.”

Also take something from the half that belongs to the Israelites. Choose one out of every 50 people, cattle, donkeys, sheep or other animals. Give them to the Levites. They are responsible for taking care of my holy tent.”

And from the people of Israel’s half you shall take one drawn out of every fifty, of the people, of the oxen, of the donkeys, and of the flocks, of all the cattle, and give them to the Levites who keep guard over the tabernacle of the Lord.”

From the half that belongs to the people of Israel, take one of every fifty of the prisoners and of the cattle, donkeys, sheep, goats, and other animals. Give this share to the Levites, who are in charge of maintaining the Lord’s Tabernacle.”

導爾者宜順服之、因彼為爾靈儆醒、如將陳訴者、使彼於此樂而不憂、否則於爾無益也、○

又守會幕及聖所、並偕其昆弟亞倫子孫、供耶和華室之役事、

夫所求於宰者忠也、

利未人亞希雅、掌上帝室之府庫、及聖物之府庫、革順族、拉但裔、族長耶希伊利、耶希伊利子西坦、及其弟約珥、掌耶和華室之府庫、暗蘭、以斯哈、希伯倫、烏泄四族、亦有職守、摩西子革舜之裔細布業、司諸府庫、亦有其昆弟以利以謝之裔、以利以謝子利哈比雅、利哈比雅子耶篩亞、耶篩亞子約蘭、約蘭子細基利、細基利子示羅密、示羅密及其昆弟、掌府庫中之聖物、即大衛王與諸族長、千夫長、百夫長、並軍長所獻者、彼以戰時所獲之物、區別為聖、以修耶和華室、

豈不知事聖事者食諸殿、侍祭壇者與於壇乎、主命宣福音者、以福音而生亦然、

爾當自慎、亦慎全羣、乃聖神立爾監督於其中、以牧上帝之會、即以己血所購者也、

既任此職、每晨啟門、環上帝室而居、其中有守供事之器者、器之出入、皆核其數、亦有理器具、與聖所什物、及細麵酒油、乳香芳品、

利未人供役於會幕、如有干犯、必負其罪、著為永例、歷世弗替、於以色列族中、不得業產、以色列人什輸其一、獻於耶和華為舉祭者、我賜於利未人為業、故曰、彼不得業於以色列中也、○耶和華諭摩西曰、告利未人云、爾得以色列族所輸之什一、我所錫爾為業者、必於其中、復取什一、以為舉祭、獻於耶和華、爾之舉祭、視為爾曹禾場之穀、酒醡之汁、爾自以色列族所得之什一、當復取其什一、獻於耶和華、使獻耶和華之舉祭、歸祭司亞倫、

臨陳軍士所得之半、人驢牛羊、五百輸一、貢於耶和華、

耶和華諭亞倫曰、人若干犯聖所、爾及子孫宗族、必負其罪、爾及子孫、為祭司而溺職、亦必負其罪、可攜爾兄弟、即屬汝祖利未支派者、偕汝而供役事、惟爾及子孫、宜在法幕前、彼為爾服役、且守會幕、惟不可近聖所之器皿及壇、免其與爾俱致死亡、彼偕爾而守會幕、供其役事、外人勿近乎爾、聖所及壇、爾當恪守、俾以色列族免遭震怒、

寄語亞基布、慎其所受於主之職而盡之、○
