So Moses said to the people,“ Arm some of your men to go to war against the Midianites so that they may carry out the Lord’s vengeance on them.

So Moses spoke to the people, saying,“ Arm men from among you for the war, that they may go against Midian to execute the Lord’s vengeance on Midian.

So Moses said to the people,“ Choose some men, and arm them to fight the Lord’s war of revenge against Midian.

So Moses spoke to the people,“ Equip some of your men for war. They will go against Midian to inflict the LORD’s vengeance on them.

So Moses spoke to the people, saying,“ Arm men from among you for the war, so that they may go against Midian to execute the Lord’s vengeance on Midian.

我又要使刀劍臨到你們，報復你們背約的仇；聚集你們在各城內，降瘟疫在你們中間，也必將你們交在仇敵的手中。 (cunpt)

耶和華對耶戶說：「因你辦好我眼中看為正的事，照我的心意待亞哈家，你的子孫必接續你坐以色列的國位，直到四代。」 (cunpt)

摩西對約書亞說：「你為我們選出人來，出去和亞瑪力人爭戰。明天我手裏要拿着神的杖，站在山頂上。」於是約書亞照着摩西對他所說的話行，和亞瑪力人爭戰。摩西、亞倫，與戶珥都上了山頂。摩西何時舉手，以色列人就得勝，何時垂手，亞瑪力人就得勝。但摩西的手發沉，他們就搬石頭來，放在他以下，他就坐在上面。亞倫與戶珥扶着他的手，一個在這邊，一個在那邊，他的手就穩住，直到日落的時候。約書亞用刀殺了亞瑪力王和他的百姓。 (cunpt)

那日是主－萬軍之耶和華報仇的日子，要向敵人報仇。刀劍必吞吃得飽，飲血飲足；因為主－萬軍之耶和華在北方幼發拉底河邊有獻祭的事。 (cunpt)

因為以色列中有軍長率領，百姓也甘心犧牲自己，你們應當頌讚耶和華！ (cunpt)

「祭司亞倫的孫子，以利亞撒的兒子非尼哈，使我向以色列人所發的怒消了；因他在他們中間，以我的忌邪為心，使我不在忌邪中把他們除滅。 (cunpt)

這約要給他和他的後裔，作為永遠當祭司職任的約；因他為神有忌邪的心，為以色列人贖罪。』」 (cunpt)

又說：「耶和華已經起了誓，必世世代代和亞瑪力人爭戰。」 (cunpt)

有從巴比倫之地逃避出來的人，在錫安揚聲報告耶和華－我們的神報仇，就是為他的殿報仇。） (cunpt)
