So Moses said to the people,“ Arm some of your men to go to war against the Midianites so that they may carry out the Lord’s vengeance on them.

Then Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other so that his hands remained steady until the sun went down.So Joshua defeated Amalek and his army with the sword.

“ Curse Meroz,” says the angel of the LORD,“ Bitterly curse her inhabitants, for they did not come to help the LORD, to help the LORD with the warriors.”

There is a voice of fugitives and refugees from the land of Babylon. The voice announces in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, the vengeance for his temple.
