凡能進火的東西、你們要使它經過火，就潔淨了，不過還要用除污穢的水去除罪染；凡不能進火的、你們要使它經過水。

凡能见火的，你们要叫它经火就为洁净，然而还要用除污秽的水洁净它；凡不能见火的，你们要叫它过水。

and anything else that can withstand fire must be put through the fire, and then it will be clean. But it must also be purified with the water of cleansing. And whatever cannot withstand fire must be put through that water.

must be put through fire. So must everything else that doesn’t burn up. Then those things will be‘ clean.’ But they must also be made pure with the special water. In fact, everything that won’t burn up must be put through that water.

everything that can stand the fire, you shall pass through the fire, and it shall be clean. Nevertheless, it shall also be purified with the water for impurity. And whatever cannot stand the fire, you shall pass through the water.

that is, all metals that do not burn— must be passed through fire in order to be made ceremonially pure. These metal objects must then be further purified with the water of purification. But everything that burns must be purified by the water alone.

everything that can withstand fire— you are to pass through fire, and it will be clean. It must still be purified with the purification water. Anything that cannot withstand fire, pass through the water.

要有一個潔淨的人把母牛的屍灰收拾起來，安放在營外潔淨的地方，給以色列人會眾保留着、調作除污穢的水；這是除罪染的。

人要為這不潔淨的人拿些燒成的除罪灰、放在器皿裏，倒上活水。

每一個人的建築物必顯出來：那日子必指明它是在火裏被顯露的：每一個人的建築物是哪一種、火必試驗出來。

你使他們潔淨要這樣行：用除罪水彈在他們身上；叫他們用剃刀把全身剃過，把衣服洗淨、潔淨自己。

我必使這三分之一經過火，我必熬煉他們，像人熬煉銀子；試煉他們，像試煉金子。他們就必呼求我的名，我就應他們。我要說：「他們是我的子民」；他們個個都要說：「永恆主是我的上帝。」

你從水中經過，我必與你同在；你逿過江河，水不漫過你；你從火中行過，必不被燙傷，火燄也不着在你身上。

這些滋生動物死了以後，若有掉在甚麼東西上頭的，這東西就不潔淨，無論是木器或衣服、或皮子、或口袋，不拘是作甚麼工用的器具，總要放在水中，但是還不潔淨到晚上；到晚上就潔淨了。

我替你出主意，你要從我買那經火鍛煉的金子，使你得財富；也買白衣披上，讓你赤裸的下體不露出；又買膏藥膏進你的眼，使你能看見。

我是用水給你們洗，叫你們悔改的；但在我以後來的那一位呢、比我有力量，他的鞋我不配提的，他必用聖靈與火給你們洗。

他救了我們，不是由於我們所行的有甚麼本於義的行為，乃是按照他的憐憫，藉着再生之洗和聖靈之更新力。聖靈是上帝藉着耶穌基督、我們的救主、豐豐富富傾注於我們身上的；

這水所豫表的、洗禮之水、如今也拯救你們：並不是肉身之除掉垢污，乃是純善的良知對上帝之誓約，藉着耶穌基督之復活。

親愛的，別以你們中間的火煉、那加在你們身上來試驗你們的、為奇怪，而以為有希奇的事臨到了你們。

你們若不聽，若不放在心上、不將榮耀歸與我的名，萬軍之永恆主說，我就降咒詛於你們中間；我必咒詛你們的福分；事實上、因你們不放在心上，我已經給以咒詛了。看吧，我必叱責你們這種類，把你們節期祭牲的糞抹在你們臉上，就把你們拋到處罰地去。

無論是衣服、是皮子、被精液所染、都要用水洗淨，但還是不潔淨到晚上。

用水的洗、用話語來潔淨她、好奉獻她為聖；

這是要叫你們的信心被試驗為及格的、比那經火試驗還能銷滅的金子更寶貴得多多的、可以在耶穌基督顯示之時見為蒙受稱讚榮耀和尊重的。
