能夠經火的東西，你們都要使它經火，它就潔淨了，但還要用除污水潔淨它；不能經火的，你們要使它經過水。

and anything else that can withstand fire must be put through the fire, and then it will be clean. But it must also be purified with the water of cleansing. And whatever cannot withstand fire must be put through that water.

must be put through fire. So must everything else that doesn’t burn up. Then those things will be‘ clean.’ But they must also be made pure with the special water. In fact, everything that won’t burn up must be put through that water.

everything that can stand the fire, you shall pass through the fire, and it shall be clean. Nevertheless, it shall also be purified with the water for impurity. And whatever cannot stand the fire, you shall pass through the water.

that is, all metals that do not burn— must be passed through fire in order to be made ceremonially pure. These metal objects must then be further purified with the water of purification. But everything that burns must be purified by the water alone.

要由一個潔淨的人收起母牛的灰，安放在營外潔淨的地方，為以色列會眾留作除污穢的水，這是除罪的。

人要為這不潔淨的人，拿些燒成的除罪灰，放在器皿裡，倒上活水。

各人的工程將來必要顯露，因為那日子必把它顯明出來。有火要把它顯露出來，那火要考驗各人的工程是怎樣的。

你潔淨他們當這樣行：要把除罪水灑在他們身上，又叫他們用剃刀剃全身；把衣服洗淨，潔淨自己。

我必使這三分之一經火試煉。我要煉淨他們，像煉淨銀子一樣；我要試煉他們，像試煉金子一樣。他們必呼求我的名，我必應允他們。我要說：‘他們是我的子民。’他們也要說：‘耶和華是我們的神。’”

你從水中經過的時候，我必與你同在；你渡過江河的時候，水必不淹沒你；你從火中行走的時候，必不會燒傷；火燄也不會在你身上燒起來。

牠們當中死了的，掉在甚麼東西上，無論是木器或是衣服，皮子或是布袋等任何器具，都成為不潔淨，要放在水中。但仍不潔淨到晚上，以後就真潔淨了。

我勸你向我買精煉的金子，使你富足；又買白衣穿上，使你赤身的羞恥不會顯露出來；也買眼藥膏抹你的眼睛，使你可以看見。

我用水給你們施洗，表示你們悔改；但在我以後要來的那一位，能力比我更大，我就是替他提鞋也沒有資格。他要用聖靈與火給你們施洗。

他就救了我們，並不是由於我們所行的義，而是照著他的憐憫，藉著重生的洗和聖靈的更新。聖靈就是神藉著我們的救主耶穌基督豐豐富富澆灌在我們身上的，

這水預表的洗禮，現在也拯救你們：不是除去肉體的污穢，而是藉著耶穌基督的復活，向神許願常存純潔的良心。

親愛的，有火煉的試驗臨到你們，不要以為奇怪，好像是遭遇非常的事，

萬軍之耶和華說：“你們若不聽從，若不放在心上，不把榮耀歸給我的名，我就使咒詛臨到你們中間，我要咒詛你們應得的福分，並且已經咒詛了，因為你們沒有把這命令放在心上。我要斥責你們的子孫，也要把糞塗抹在你們的臉上，就是節期祭牲的糞；人要把你們抬到糞堆去。”

無論是衣服或是皮革，被精液染污，都要用水洗淨，並且不潔淨到晚上。

為的是要用水藉著道把教會洗淨，成為聖潔，

是要叫你們的信心經過試驗，就比那被火煉過，仍會朽壞的金子更寶貴，可以在耶穌基督顯現的時候，得著稱讚、榮耀和尊貴。
