And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive?

“ Have you let every female live?” he asked them.

Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’” (niv)

At that time we took all his towns and completely destroyed them— men, women and children. We left no survivors. (niv)

“ A curse on anyone who is lax in doing the Lord’s work! A curse on anyone who keeps their sword from bloodshed! (niv)

The Israelites carried off for themselves all the plunder and livestock of these cities, but all the people they put to the sword until they completely destroyed them, not sparing anyone that breathed. (niv)

So Joshua subdued the whole region, including the hill country, the Negev, the western foothills and the mountain slopes, together with all their kings. He left no survivors. He totally destroyed all who breathed, just as the Lord, the God of Israel, had commanded. (niv)

However, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes.Completely destroy them— the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites— as the Lord your God has commanded you.Otherwise, they will teach you to follow all the detestable things they do in worshiping their gods, and you will sin against the Lord your God. Slaughter the old men, the young men and women, the mothers and children, but do not touch anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the old men who were in front of the temple. (niv)

When the Lord your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it. (niv)

Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction, happy is the one who repays you according to what you have done to us.Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks. (niv)
