Then you shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold, their hooks also of gold, on four bases of silver.

And you shall make five pillars of acacia for the curtain and overlay them with gold, their hooks also of gold; and you shall cast five bases of bronze for them.

“ Then you shall make the boards for the tabernacle of acacia wood, standing upright.Ten cubits shall be the length of each board and one and a half cubits the width of each board.There shall be two tenons for each board, fitted to one another; that is what you shall do for all the boards of the tabernacle.You shall make the boards for the tabernacle: twenty boards for the south side.You shall make forty bases of silver under the twenty boards, two bases under one board for its two tenons and two bases under another board for its two tenons;and for the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side, twenty boards,and their forty bases of silver; two bases under one board and two bases under another board.For the back of the tabernacle, to the west, you shall make six boards.You shall make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle at the back.They shall be double beneath, and together they shall be complete to its top to the first ring; this is how it shall be with both of them: they shall form the two corners.And there shall be eight boards with their bases of silver, sixteen bases; two bases under one board and two bases under another board.“ Then you shall make bars of acacia wood, five for the boards of one side of the tabernacle,and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle for the back side to the west.The middle bar in the center of the boards shall pass through from end to end.And you shall overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold as holders for the bars; and you shall overlay the bars with gold.

And the bases for the pillars were of bronze, the hooks of the pillars and their bands, of silver; and the overlaying of their tops, of silver, and all the pillars of the courtyard were furnished with silver bands.Now the curtain of the gate of the courtyard was the work of the weaver, of violet, purple, and scarlet material and fine twisted linen. And the length was twenty cubits and the height was five cubits, corresponding to the hangings of the courtyard.Their four pillars and their four bases were of bronze; their hooks were of silver, and the overlaying of their tops and their bands were of silver.All the pegs of the tabernacle and of the courtyard all around were of bronze.

“ As for the sons of Merari, you shall count them by their families, by their fathers’ households;from thirty years old and upward, even to fifty years old, you shall count them, everyone who can enter the service to do the work of the tent of meeting.Now this is the duty of their loads, for all their service in the tent of meeting: the boards of the tabernacle, its bars, its pillars, and its bases,and the pillars around the courtyard and their bases, their pegs, and their ropes, with all their equipment and with all their service; and you shall assign by names of the men the items that each is to carry.This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service in the tent of meeting, under the direction of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.”

On the south side there shall be hangings for the courtyard of fine twisted linen, a hundred cubits long for one side;and its pillars shall be twenty, with their twenty bases of bronze; the hooks of the pillars and their bands shall be of silver.Likewise for the north side in length there shall be hangings a hundred cubits long, and its twenty pillars with their twenty bases of bronze; the hooks of the pillars and their bands shall be of silver.For the width of the courtyard on the west side shall be hangings of fifty cubits, with their ten pillars and their ten bases.The width of the courtyard on the east side shall be fifty cubits.The hangings for the one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and their three bases.And for the other side there shall be hangings of fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and their three bases.And for the gate of the courtyard there shall be a curtain of twenty cubits, of violet, purple, and scarlet material and fine twisted linen, the work of a weaver, with their four pillars and their four bases.All the pillars around the courtyard shall be joined together with silver, with their hooks of silver and their bases of bronze.The length of the courtyard shall be a hundred cubits, and the width fifty throughout, and the height five cubits of fine twisted linen, and their bases of bronze.All the utensils of the tabernacle used in all its service, and all its pegs, and all the pegs of the courtyard, shall be of bronze.
