耶和華擊殺伯示麥人，因為他們擅自看了耶和華的約櫃裡面；他擊殺了民眾五萬零七十個人。耶和華大大擊殺民眾，民眾就悲慟。

因此，弟兄們，我們藉著耶穌的血，可以坦然無懼地進入至聖所。他為我們開闢了一條又新又活的道路，從幔子經過；這幔子就是他的身體。既然我們有一位偉大的祭司管理神的家，既然我們的心被血灑過，脫離了罪惡感，身體也被清水洗淨了，就讓我們懷著真誠的心，以確信不移的信仰近前來；

由此可見，你們不再是外人，或寄居的；你們是聖徒的同國之民，是神家裡的人，

既然如此，如果他在地上，就不會做祭司，因為地上已經有照著律法獻祭物的祭司。

耶和華的怒氣就向烏撒發作，神因這過失而擊殺他，他就當場死在神的約櫃面前。

你要思想這些事，投身其中，使你的長進在大家面前清清楚楚。你要留意自己和自己的教導，在這些事上要有恆心，因為這樣做，不但能救你自己，也能救那些聽從你的人。
