“‘ On the second day you shall offer twelve young bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old without defect;

“‘ On the second day offer twelve young bulls, two rams and fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect.

“‘ On the second day sacrifice 12 young bulls and two rams. Also sacrifice 14 male lambs a year old. They must not have any flaws.

“ On the second day twelve bulls from the herd, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without blemish,

“ On the second day of this seven day festival, sacrifice twelve young bulls, two rams, and fourteen one year old male lambs, all with no defects.

“ On the second day present twelve young bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old— all unblemished—

‘ Then on the second day: twelve bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs one year old without defect;

‘ On the second day present twelve young bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs in their first year without blemish,

And on the second day ye shall offer twelve young bullocks, two rams, fourteen he- lambs a year old without blemish;

“ On the second day present 12 young bulls, two rams, and 14 male lambs a year old— all unblemished—

And on the second day[ ye shall offer] twelve young bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without spot:

“‘ On the second day you must offer twelve young bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,

I don’t rebuke you for your sacrifices. Your burnt offerings are continually before me.I have no need for a bull from your stall, nor male goats from your pens.

For I didn’t speak to your fathers or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices;but this thing I commanded them, saying,‘ Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people; and walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’

Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh. On the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you. You shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh. It is a solemn assembly; you shall do no regular work.

In that he says,“ A new covenant”, he has made the first old. But that which is becoming old and grows aged is near to vanishing away.

“‘ On the third day: eleven bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without defect;and their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance;and one male goat for a sin offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering, and its meal offering, and its drink offering.“‘ On the fourth day ten bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without defect;their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance;and one male goat for a sin offering; in addition to the continual burnt offering, its meal offering, and its drink offering.“‘ On the fifth day: nine bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without defect;and their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance,and one male goat for a sin offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering, and its meal offering, and its drink offering.“‘ On the sixth day: eight bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without defect;and their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance,and one male goat for a sin offering; in addition to the continual burnt offering, its meal offering, and the drink offerings of it.“‘ On the seventh day: seven bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without defect;and their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance,and one male goat for a sin offering; in addition to the continual burnt offering, its meal offering, and its drink offering.“‘ On the eighth day you shall have a solemn assembly. You shall do no regular work;but you shall offer a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasant aroma to Yahweh: one bull, one ram, seven male lambs a year old without defect;their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bull, for the ram, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the ordinance,and one male goat for a sin offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering, with its meal offering, and its drink offering.“‘ You shall offer these to Yahweh in your set feasts— in addition to your vows and your free will offerings— for your burnt offerings, your meal offerings, your drink offerings, and your peace offerings.’”Moses told the children of Israel according to all that Yahweh commanded Moses.

It will please Yahweh better than an ox, or a bull that has horns and hoofs.

“ What are the multitude of your sacrifices to me?”, says Yahweh.“ I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed animals. I don’t delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of male goats.

You shall offer a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh: thirteen young bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect;

For you don’t delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering.The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. O God, you will not despise a broken and contrite heart.

After the second veil was the tabernacle which is called the Holy of Holies,having a golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which was a golden pot holding the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;and above it cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat, of which things we can’t speak now in detail.Now these things having been thus prepared, the priests go in continually into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the services,but into the second the high priest alone, once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself, and for the errors of the people.The Holy Spirit is indicating this, that the way into the Holy Place wasn’t yet revealed while the first tabernacle was still standing.This is a symbol of the present age, where gifts and sacrifices are offered that are incapable, concerning the conscience, of making the worshiper perfect,being only( with meats and drinks and various washings) fleshly ordinances, imposed until a time of reformation.But Christ having come as a high priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation,nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption.For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh,how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without defect to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.

Sacrifice and offering you didn’t desire. You have opened my ears. You have not required burnt offering and sin offering.

For I desire mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
