“ On the second day present twelve young bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old— all unblemished—

“‘ On the second day offer twelve young bulls, two rams and fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect.

“‘ On the second day sacrifice 12 young bulls and two rams. Also sacrifice 14 male lambs a year old. They must not have any flaws.

“ On the second day twelve bulls from the herd, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without blemish,

“ On the second day of this seven day festival, sacrifice twelve young bulls, two rams, and fourteen one year old male lambs, all with no defects.

‘ Then on the second day: twelve bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs one year old without defect;

‘ On the second day present twelve young bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs in their first year without blemish,

And on the second day ye shall offer twelve young bullocks, two rams, fourteen he- lambs a year old without blemish;

“ On the second day present 12 young bulls, two rams, and 14 male lambs a year old— all unblemished—

And on the second day[ ye shall offer] twelve young bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without spot:

“‘ On the second day you must offer twelve young bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,

“‘ On the second day you shall offer twelve young bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old without defect;

I do not rebuke you for your sacrifices or for your burnt offerings, which are continually before me.I will not take a bull from your household or male goats from your pens,

for when I brought your ancestors out of the land of Egypt, I did not speak with them or command them concerning burnt offering and sacrifice.However, I did give them this command:‘ Obey me, and then I will be your God, and you will be my people. Follow every way I command you so that it may go well with you.’

You are to present a food offering to the LORD for seven days. On the eighth day you are to hold a sacred assembly and present a food offering to the LORD. It is a solemn assembly; you are not to do any daily work.

By saying a new covenant, he has declared that the first is obsolete. And what is obsolete and growing old is about to pass away.

“ On the third day present eleven bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old— all unblemished—with their grain and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, in proportion to their number.Also offer one male goat as a sin offering. These are in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain and drink offerings.“ On the fourth day present ten bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old— all unblemished—with their grain and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, in proportion to their number.Also offer one male goat as a sin offering. These are in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain and drink offerings.“ On the fifth day present nine bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old— all unblemished—with their grain and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, in proportion to their number.Also offer one male goat as a sin offering. These are in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain and drink offerings.“ On the sixth day present eight bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old— all unblemished—with their grain and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, in proportion to their number.Also offer one male goat as a sin offering. These are in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain and drink offerings.“ On the seventh day present seven bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old— all unblemished—with their grain and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, in proportion to their number.Also offer one male goat as a sin offering. These are in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain and drink offerings.“ Offer these to the LORD at your appointed times in addition to your vow and freewill offerings, whether burnt, grain, drink, or fellowship offerings.”So Moses told the Israelites everything the LORD had commanded him.

That will please the LORD more than an ox, more than a bull with horns and hooves.

“ What are all your sacrifices to me?” asks the LORD.“ I have had enough of burnt offerings and rams and the fat of well-fed cattle; I have no desire for the blood of bulls, lambs, or male goats.

Present a burnt offering, a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD: thirteen young bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old. They are to be unblemished.

You do not want a sacrifice, or I would give it; you are not pleased with a burnt offering.The sacrifice pleasing to God is a broken spirit. You will not despise a broken and humbled heart, God.

Behind the second curtain was a tent called the most holy place.It had the gold altar of incense and the ark of the covenant, covered with gold on all sides, in which was a gold jar containing the manna, Aaron’s staff that budded, and the tablets of the covenant.The cherubim of glory were above the ark overshadowing the mercy seat. It is not possible to speak about these things in detail right now.With these things prepared like this, the priests enter the first room repeatedly, performing their ministry.But the high priest alone enters the second room, and he does that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offers for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.The Holy Spirit was making it clear that the way into the most holy place had not yet been disclosed while the first tabernacle was still standing.This is a symbol for the present time, during which gifts and sacrifices are offered that cannot perfect the worshiper’s conscience.They are physical regulations and only deal with food, drink, and various washings imposed until the time of the new order.But Christ has appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come. In the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands( that is, not of this creation),he entered the most holy place once for all time, not by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow, sprinkling those who are defiled, sanctify for the purification of the flesh,how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works so that we can serve the living God?

Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship.

You do not delight in sacrifice and offering; you open my ears to listen. You do not ask for a whole burnt offering or a sin offering.

For I desire faithful love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
