“已经为你的同胞和圣城定了七十个七，以终结叛逆，除掉罪恶，赎尽过犯，带来永远的公义，封住异象和预言，膏抹至圣所。你要知道，也要明白，从重建耶路撒冷的命令发出，到受膏的君王来临，其间有七个七加六十二个七。耶路撒冷城及其广场和壕沟必得重建，且是在艰难时期。六十二个七之后，受膏者必被杀害，一无所有。另有一王要兴起，他的臣民要毁灭这城和圣所。结局必如洪水冲来，战争将持续到末了，到处一片荒凉——这已经注定。

亚伦要献上那只归耶和华的公山羊作赎罪祭，

祂在天上不必一次又一次地把自己献上，好像那些大祭司年年都带着牛羊的血进入至圣所。否则，自创世以来，祂不知道要受难多少次了。但如今在这世代的末期，祂只一次献上自己，便除去了人的罪。按着定命，人人都有一死，死后还有审判。同样，基督为了承担世人的罪，也曾一次献上自己。祂还要再来，不是来除罪，而是来拯救那些热切等候祂的人。

此外，要照常献上朔日和日常应献的燔祭、素祭和奠祭，给耶和华作馨香的火祭。
