『在你們的七七節上、當獻首熟之物那一天、你們將新素祭獻與永恆主的時候、要有聖聚會；甚麼勞碌的工都不可作，

七七日節、初實之際、獻新素祭於耶和華時、必有聖會、毋作苦、

七七日後、獻我以初實、亦奉禮物以薦新、其時必有聖會、咸止工作、

七七日後、獻初實於主前、即薦新之日、當有聖會、無論何工、悉毋作、

“‘ On the day of firstfruits, when you present to the Lord an offering of new grain during the Festival of Weeks, hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.

“‘ On the day you gather the first share of your crops, present to the Lord an offering of your first grain. Do it during the Feast of Weeks. Come together for a special service. Do not do any regular work.

“ On the day of the firstfruits, when you offer a grain offering of new grain to the Lord at your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work,

“ At the Festival of Harvest, when you present the first of your new grain to the Lord, you must call an official day for holy assembly, and you may do no ordinary work on that day.

“ On the day of firstfruits, you are to hold a sacred assembly when you present an offering of new grain to the LORD at your Festival of Weeks; you are not to do any daily work.

‘ Also on the day of the first fruits, when you present a new grain offering to the Lord in your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy assembly; you shall do no laborious work.

‘ Also on the day of the firstfruits, when you bring a new grain offering to the Lord at your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work.

Also in the day of the first- fruits, when ye offer a new meal- offering unto Jehovah in your feast of weeks, ye shall have a holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work;

Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering unto the LORD, after your weeks[ be out], ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:

“‘ Also in the day of the first fruits, when you offer a new meal offering to Yahweh in your feast of weeks, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no regular work;

又要守收割節，所收的是你田間所種、勞碌得來初熟之物。並在年底收藏，要守收藏節。

在收割初熟麥子的時候要守七七節；又在年底要守收藏節。

「你曉諭以色列人說：你們到了我賜給你們的地，收割莊稼的時候，要將初熟的莊稼一捆帶給祭司。

「你們要從安息日的次日，獻禾捆為搖祭的那日算起，要滿了七個安息日。到第七個安息日的次日，共計五十天，又要將新素祭獻給耶和華。要從你們的住處取出細麵伊法十分之二，加酵，烤成兩個搖祭的餅，當作初熟之物獻給耶和華。又要將一歲、沒有殘疾的羊羔七隻、公牛犢一隻、公綿羊兩隻，和餅一同奉上。這些與同獻的素祭和奠祭要作為燔祭獻給耶和華，就是作馨香的火祭獻給耶和華。你們要獻一隻公山羊為贖罪祭，兩隻一歲的公綿羊羔為平安祭。祭司要把這些和初熟麥子做的餅一同作搖祭，在耶和華面前搖一搖；這是獻與耶和華為聖物歸給祭司的。當這日，你們要宣告聖會；甚麼勞碌的工都不可做。這在你們一切的住處作為世世代代永遠的定例。

「你要計算七七日：從你開鐮收割禾稼時算起，共計七七日。你要照耶和華－你神所賜你的福，手裏拿着甘心祭，獻在耶和華－你的神面前，守七七節。你和你兒女、僕婢，並住在你城裏的利未人，以及在你們中間寄居的與孤兒寡婦，都要在耶和華－你神所選擇立為他名的居所，在耶和華－你的神面前歡樂。

第一日當有聖會；甚麼勞碌的工都不可做。

他按自己的旨意，用真道生了我們，叫我們在他所造的萬物中好像初熟的果子。

但基督已經從死裏復活，成為睡了之人初熟的果子。

五旬節到了，門徒都聚集在一處。忽然，從天上有響聲下來，好像一陣大風吹過，充滿了他們所坐的屋子，又有舌頭如火焰顯現出來，分開落在他們各人頭上。他們就都被聖靈充滿，按着聖靈所賜的口才說起別國的話來。那時，有虔誠的猶太人從天下各國來，住在耶路撒冷。這聲音一響，眾人都來聚集，各人聽見門徒用眾人的鄉談說話，就甚納悶；都驚訝希奇說：「看哪，這說話的不都是加利利人嗎？我們各人怎麼聽見他們說我們生來所用的鄉談呢？我們帕提亞人、米底亞人、以攔人，和住在美索不達米亞、猶太、加帕多家、本都、亞細亞、弗呂家、旁非利亞、埃及的人，並靠近古利奈的利比亞一帶地方的人，從羅馬來的客旅中，或是猶太人，或是進猶太教的人，克里特和阿拉伯人，都聽見他們用我們的鄉談，講說神的大作為。」眾人就都驚訝猜疑，彼此說：「這是甚麼意思呢？」還有人譏誚說：「他們無非是新酒灌滿了。」
