Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.

Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

I the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.

That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This[ is that] Dathan and Abiram,[ which were] famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against the LORD:And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign.

Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took[ men]:And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them,[ Ye take] too much upon you, seeing all the congregation[ are] holy, every one of them, and the LORD[ is] among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that[ appertained] unto Korah, and all[ their] goods.They, and all that[ appertained] to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.And all Israel that[ were] round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up[ also].And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am[ he], ye shall die in your sins.

Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.

For the wages of sin[ is] death; but the gift of God[ is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.

And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation.

And Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad[ were] Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
