“ Our father died in the wilderness. He was not among Korah’s followers, who banded together against the Lord, but he died for his own sin and left no sons.

但被数的人中，没有一个是摩西和祭司亚伦从前在西奈的旷野所数的以色列人，因为耶和华论到他们说：“他们必要死在旷野。”所以，除了耶孚尼的儿子迦勒和嫩的儿子约书亚以外，连一个人也没有存留。

看哪，世人都是属我的；为父的怎样属我，为子的也照样属我；犯罪的，他必死亡。

我耶和华说过，我总要这样待这一切聚集敌我的恶会众；他们必在这旷野消灭，在这里死亡。’”

就如罪作王叫人死；照样，恩典也藉着义作王，叫人因我们的主耶稣基督得永生。

以利押的众子是尼母利、大坍、亚比兰。这大坍、亚比兰，就是从会中选召的，与可拉一党同向耶和华争闹的时候也向摩西、亚伦争闹；地便开口吞了他们，和可拉、可拉的党类一同死亡。那时火烧灭了二百五十个人；他们就作了警戒。

利未的曾孙、哥辖的孙子、以斯哈的儿子可拉，和流便子孙中以利押的儿子大坍、亚比兰，与比勒的儿子安，并以色列会中的二百五十个首领，就是有名望选入会中的人，在摩西面前一同起来，聚集攻击摩西、亚伦，说：“你们擅自专权！全会众个个既是圣洁，耶和华也在他们中间，你们为什么自高，超过耶和华的会众呢？”

把他们和他们的家眷，并一切属可拉的人丁、财物，都吞下去。这样，他们和一切属他们的，都活活地坠落阴间；地口在他们上头照旧合闭，他们就从会中灭亡。在他们四围的以色列众人听他们呼号，就都逃跑，说：“恐怕地也把我们吞下去。”又有火从耶和华那里出来，烧灭了那献香的二百五十个人。

所以我对你们说，你们要死在罪中。你们若不信我是基督，必要死在罪中。”

除了因可拉事情死的以外，遭瘟疫死的，共有一万四千七百人。

因为罪的工价乃是死；惟有神的恩赐，在我们的主基督耶稣里，乃是永生。

耶稣又对他们说：“我要去了，你们要找我，并且你们要死在罪中。我所去的地方，你们不能到。”

可拉招聚全会众到会幕门前，要攻击摩西、亚伦；耶和华的荣光就向全会众显现。

希弗的儿子：西罗非哈没儿子，只有女儿。西罗非哈女儿的名字就是玛拉、挪阿、曷拉、密迦、得撒。

这就如罪是从一人入了世界，死又是从罪来的，于是死就临到众人，因为众人都犯了罪。
