因为所有的生命都属于我，父和子都属于我。谁犯罪，谁死亡。

我耶和华已经说过。我必使你们这群与我为敌的恶人死在旷野，无一幸免。”

罪怎样掌权带来死亡，恩典也照样借着义掌权，为要借着我们主耶稣基督带来永生。

以利押的儿子是尼姆利、大坍和亚比兰。大坍、亚比兰原是会众所推选的首领，他们与可拉一伙一起反叛摩西和亚伦，反叛耶和华，以致大地裂开将他们全部吞了下去，当时大火还烧灭了二百五十人——成了后人的警戒。

可拉是利未的曾孙、哥辖的孙子、以斯哈的儿子。他跟吕便支派以利押的两个儿子大坍和亚比兰以及比勒的儿子安心中狂妄，联合二百五十名在以色列会众中有声望的首领反叛摩西，一起攻击摩西和亚伦，说：“你们太过分了！全体会众都是圣洁的，有耶和华住在他们当中，你们凭什么将自己置于耶和华的会众之上？”

吞下了他们和他们的家眷及所有可拉一伙的人和财物。他们和属于他们的一切就这样活活地坠入阴间，地在他们上面合拢起来，他们就从会众中灭亡了。他们四围的以色列人听到他们的喊叫声，纷纷逃跑，生怕自己也被吞下去。耶和华又降下烈火，烧死了那二百五十个献香的人。

所以我说你们将死在自己的罪中，你们如果不相信我就是那一位，一定会死在自己的罪中。”

除了在可拉事件中死亡的人以外，当天有一万四千七百人死于瘟疫。

因为罪的代价就是死亡，而上帝借着主基督耶稣赐下的礼物则是永生。

耶稣又对他们说：“我要走了，你们会寻找我，你们将死在自己的罪中。我去的地方，你们不能去。”

可拉把全体会众招聚到会幕门口，要对付摩西和亚伦。这时，耶和华的荣光向会众显现。

希弗的儿子西罗非哈没有儿子，只有女儿玛拉、挪阿、曷拉、密迦和得撒。

因此，罪怎样从一个人进入世界并带来了死亡，死亡也怎样临到了全人类，因为全人类都犯了罪。
