耶和华吩咐摩西说：“你要上这亚巴琳山去，看看我赐给以色列人的地。

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Go up this mountain in the Abarim Range and see the land I have given the Israelites.

Then the LORD said to Moses,“ Go up this mountain of the Abarim range and see the land that I have given the Israelites.

And Jehovah said unto Moses, Get thee up into this mountain of Abarim, and behold the land which I have given unto the children of Israel.

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Go up this mountain of the Abarim range and see the land that I have given the Israelites.

从亚门．低比拉太音起行，在尼波前面的亚巴琳山安营。从亚巴琳山起行，在耶利哥对面，约旦河边的摩押平原安营。

就在那一天，耶和华对摩西说：“你要上这亚巴琳山去，就是尼波山，在耶利哥对面的摩押地，观看我赐给以色列人为业的迦南地。你必死在你登上的山上，归到你的族人那里去，像你的哥哥亚伦死在何珥山上，归到他的族人那里去一样。因为你们在寻的旷野，在加低斯米利巴水边，在以色列人中间悖逆我，在以色列人中间没有尊我为圣。我赐给以色列人的地，你可以从对面观看，却不得进去。”

摩西从摩押平原上了尼波山，就是上了耶利哥对面的毗斯迦山顶。耶和华把全地指给他看，就是把基列直到但，拿弗他利全地，以法莲和玛拿西之地，犹大全地，直到西海，南地和那平原，就是棕树城耶利哥的盆地，直到琐珥，都指给他看。耶和华对他说：“这就是我曾经向亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓应许之地，说：‘我要把这地赐给你的后裔。’现在我让你亲眼看见了，可是你不能过到那边去。”

“那时，我恳求耶和华，说：‘主耶和华啊，你已经把你的伟大和你有能力的手显给你的仆人看；在天上地下，哪一个神能有像你所作的工作，能有像你所行的奇事呢？求你让我过去，看看约旦河西的美地，就是那美好的山地和黎巴嫩。’但耶和华为了你们的缘故，向我发怒，不听我的恳求；耶和华对我说：‘罢了，不要向我再提这事了。你要上毗斯迦山顶去，举目向东、南、西、北，亲眼观看，因为你不能过这约旦河。
