居於爾邑之利未人、既於爾中無分無業、則不可遺之、○每三年終、當出是年土產之什一、貯於爾邑內倉中、使爾中無分無業之利未人、居於爾邑之外邦客旅及孤寡、皆來取之、食之而飽、則主爾之天主、必賜福於爾在凡所為之事、

惟不以地予利未人為業、人所獻於主以色列天主之祭物、以為其業、循主所許之者、○

蓋摩西曾在約但東、分地予二支派及一支派之半、其間惟不以地予利未人為業、

惟利未支派、摩西不賜業、乃恃主以色列之天主為業、循主所許之者、

為祭司之利未人、及利未全支派、在以色列人中不得地為業、可食獻於主之祭物、以為其業、彼在其兄弟兄弟即以色列人不得地為業、必恃主為業、循主所許之之言、

主諭亞倫曰、爾在以色列人中、必不得地為業、其間無所應得之分、爾在以色列人中所得之分所有之業即我也、或作爾在以色列人中所得之分即在我所我為爾之業利未人既在會幕供役事、我於以色列人之土產、什取其一賜彼為業、自今後以色列人、毋再近會幕、恐負罪至於死亡、會幕之役事、即為利未人所供、若有干犯、必自負罪、彼在以色列人中、必不得地為業、此為歷世永定之例、以色列人什輸其一、舉而獻於我之物、我既賜利未人為業、故云、彼在以色列人中不得地為業、○
