摩西又對以色列人說：「這就是耶和華吩咐用抽籤的方式分給你們九個半支派的土地。

你們要按宗族家系抽籤分配土地，人口多的多分，人口少的少分，抽到哪塊地就得哪塊地。

約書亞照耶和華對摩西的指示，奪取整個地區，把土地按照支派分給以色列人作產業。於是境內國泰民安，沒有戰事了。

人可以搖籤求問，但耶和華決定一切。

抽籤可以平息爭端，調解強者間的糾紛。

歡喜地感謝天父，因祂使你們有資格跟眾聖徒在光明中同享基業。

約瑟的子孫對約書亞說：「耶和華賜福給我們，使我們人口眾多，為什麼你只讓我們抽一支籤，分一份產業呢？」

約書亞便在示羅按照以色列的支派，在耶和華面前為他們抽籤分地。便雅憫支派按宗族抽籤分到的領土，座落在猶大和約瑟支派的領土之間。

我聽見以色列各支派中蓋了印的共有十四萬四千人：猶大支派有一萬二千，呂便支派有一萬二千，迦得支派有一萬二千，亞設支派有一萬二千，拿弗他利支派有一萬二千，瑪拿西支派有一萬二千，西緬支派有一萬二千，利未支派有一萬二千，以薩迦支派有一萬二千，西布倫支派有一萬二千，約瑟支派有一萬二千，便雅憫支派有一萬二千。

你們把這七份土地繪成地圖交給我，我要在我們的上帝耶和華面前為你們抽籤。
