『祭司亞倫的孫子以利亞撒的兒子非尼哈使我向以色列人所發的烈怒轉消，因他在他們中間以妒愛熱情愛我，使我因妒愛熱情不把以色列人滅盡。

“祭司亚伦的孙子，以利亚撒的儿子非尼哈，使我向以色列人所发的怒消了；因他在他们中间，以我的忌邪为心，使我不在忌邪中把他们除灭。

“亚伦祭司的孙子，以利亚撒的儿子非尼哈，使我的愤怒转离以色列人，因为在他们中间，他以我的妒忌为他的妒忌，使我不在妒忌中毁灭以色列人。

“亚伦祭司的孙子，以利亚撒的儿子非尼哈，使我的愤怒转离以色列人，因为在他们中间，他以我的妒忌为他的妒忌，使我不在妒忌中毁灭以色列人。

祭司亞倫孫、以利亞撒子非尼哈、以我嫉邪為心、致我釋怒於以色列人、當嫉邪時、不行殲滅、

我斷不容以他上帝匹我、以色列族犯此、故我震怒、祭司亞倫孫、以利亞撒子、非尼哈施其熱中、以奉事我、使我不滅其眾、

祭司亞倫孫以利亞撒子非尼哈、在以色列人中為我熱中、致我向以色列人息怒、在我忌邪發怒之時、不以之翦滅、

“ Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, the priest, has turned my anger away from the Israelites. Since he was as zealous for my honor among them as I am, I did not put an end to them in my zeal.

“ Phinehas is a priest. He is the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron. Phinehas has turned my anger away from the Israelites. I am committed to making sure I am honored among them. And he is as committed as I am. So even though I was angry with them, I did not put an end to them.

“ Phinehas the son of Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, has turned back my wrath from the people of Israel, in that he was jealous with my jealousy among them, so that I did not consume the people of Israel in my jealousy.

“ Phinehas son of Eleazar and grandson of Aaron the priest has turned my anger away from the Israelites by being as zealous among them as I was. So I stopped destroying all Israel as I had intended to do in my zealous anger.

“ Phinehas son of Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, has turned back my wrath from the Israelites because he was zealous among them with my zeal, so that I did not destroy the Israelites in my zeal.

“ Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has averted My wrath from the sons of Israel in that he was jealous with My jealousy among them, so that I did not destroy the sons of Israel in My jealousy.

“ Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned back My wrath from the children of Israel, because he was zealous with My zeal among them, so that I did not consume the children of Israel in My zeal.

Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, in that he was jealous with my jealousy among them, so that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.

“ Phinehas son of Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, has turned back My wrath from the Israelites because he was zealous among them with My zeal, so that I did not destroy the Israelites in My zeal.

Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.

“ Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned my anger away from the Israelites, when he manifested such zeal for my sake among them, so that I did not consume the Israelites in my zeal.

“ Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, in that he was jealous with my jealousy among them, so that I didn’t consume the children of Israel in my jealousy.

他們用外族人的神激了上帝的妒憤，用可厭惡的事惹了他發怒。

他們呢、以那不是神的激了我的妒憤，以虛無的神惹了我發怒；我呢、也必以那不是子民的激他們的妒忌，以愚昧的外國人惹他們的憤恨。

他們用他們的邱壇惹了他發怒，用他們的雕像激了他的妒憤。

永恆主發神諭說：『由此看來，你們要等候着我，等有一天我起來作證。因為我已決定聚集列邦，招聚列國，將我的盛怒、我猛烈的怒氣、都倒在他們身上；因為在我的妒憤中全地都必被燒滅。

不可敬拜它們，也不可事奉它們，因為我永恆主你的上帝是忌邪的上帝；恨我的、我必察罰他們的罪愆、從父親到兒子、到三四代。

猶大人行永恆主所看為壞的事，將他們所犯的罪來激動他的妒憤，比他們列祖所行的更壞。

當永恆主震怒的日子、他們的銀子或金子都不能援救他們；但在永恆主妒憤的怒火中全地都必被燒滅；因為他必將這地所有的居民完全毁滅，而且很可怕地毁滅。

或是說我們在激動主的妒愛啊？難道我們比他還強壯麼？

我以上帝的妒愛妒愛你們，把你們許配了一位獨一的丈夫，好把你們做貞潔的童女獻與基督。

信子的有永恆的生命；不信從子的必不得見生命，上帝的義怒卻停留在他身上。』

但是永恆主必不情願赦免這種人，永恆主的怒氣和妒憤反而要向這種人冒煙，而這書上所寫的這一切咒詛就都要伏在那人身上；永恆主又要將他的名從天下塗抹掉。

我要將行姦淫和流人血的婦女應受的判罰來判罰你；我要將那使人流血應受的烈怒和妒憤加於你身上。

故此他說要消滅他們；若非有他所揀選的摩西當決裂之時站在他面前，使他的烈怒轉消，避免施行殺滅，他們早已滅亡了。

將掃羅和他兒子約拿單的骸骨埋葬在便雅憫地的洗拉、在掃羅父親基士的墳墓裏。眾人行了王所吩咐的；此後上帝就應允了那地所懇求的。

因為永恆主你的上帝乃是燒滅人的烈火，是忌邪的上帝。

『人若使田地或葡萄園裏的東西被喫，人若放牲口在別人的田地裏喫東西，他就要拿自己田地裏最好的、和葡萄園裏最好的、來賠償。

永恆主是忌邪、是行報應的上帝；永恆主施行着報應，而且滿有烈怒。永恆主向他的敵人行報應，他向他的仇敵懷怒。

那時非尼哈站起來干涉，疫症這才被制住。

（不可拜別的神，因為那名為忌邪者永恆主是忌邪的上帝），

約書亞說：『你為甚麼把我們搞壞呢？今天永恆主必搞壞你。』於是以色列眾人扔石頭把他砍死，用火燒了他們，又拿石頭丟在他們上頭。這樣，眾人就在亞干身上立起一大堆石頭；那堆石頭到今日還在；於是永恆主就回心轉意、不發烈怒。因此那地方到今日還叫亞割山谷。

約書亞對人民說：『你們不能事奉永恆主；因為他是聖別的上帝；他是忌邪的上帝；他必不赦免你們的過犯罪惡。
