Like a lion they crouch and lie down, like a lioness— who dares to rouse them?“ May those who bless you be blessed and those who curse you be cursed!”

Like a male lion they lie down and sleep. They are like a female lion. Who dares to wake them up?“ May those who bless you be blessed! May those who curse you be cursed!”

He crouched, he lay down like a lion and like a lioness; who will rouse him up? Blessed are those who bless you, and cursed are those who curse you.”

Like a lion, Israel crouches and lies down; like a lioness, who dares to arouse her? Blessed is everyone who blesses you, O Israel, and cursed is everyone who curses you.”

祝爾者吾亦祝之、詛爾者吾亦詛之、天下兆民、將藉爾受福焉。

願兆民服役爾側、列國拜跪爾前、兄弟以爾為主、同母者無不稽首、詛爾者必見詛、祝爾者必見祝。○

斯民之興也如牝獅、其動也如牡獅、不食斷傷之肉、不飲被殺之血、則不偃卧。○

猶大若稚獅、見物則斷傷之、悠然而去、吾子如牡獅、伏視眈眈、亦猶牝獅、孰敢攖之。

王必謂之曰、我誠告爾、既不行之於此至微者之一、即不行之於我也、

王必謂之曰、我誠告爾、即行之於我兄弟至微之一、即行之於我也、○

曰、子為誰、主曰、吾乃爾所窘逐之耶穌也、爾以足觸莿、難矣、

上帝之子、爾當接吻以為禮、恐俄頃之間、赫然震怒、而爾死於途中、恃之者有福兮。

牝獅稚獅、伏於巖穴、藏於林藪、爾能為之覓食、以充其饑乎。

爾曹當禱於耶和華、使耶路撒冷得享平康、愛斯邑者、必納福祉兮、

猛士見鱷魚、且莫敢攖、疇則敢與我爭。
