“ Like valleys they spread out, like gardens beside a river, like aloes planted by the Lord, like cedars beside the waters.

On that day the mountains will drip with sweet wine, and the hills will flow with milk. All the dry stream beds of Judah will flow with water. A spring will flow out from the temple of the LORD, watering the Valley of Acacia Trees.

The godly grow like a palm tree; they grow high like a cedar in Lebanon.Planted in the LORD’s house, they grow in the courts of our God.They bear fruit even when they are old; they are filled with vitality and have many leaves.

Consider Assyria, a cedar in Lebanon, with beautiful branches, like a forest giving shade, and extremely tall; its top reached into the clouds.The water made it grow; underground springs made it grow tall. Rivers flowed all around the place it was planted, while smaller channels watered all the trees of the field.

The LORD God planted an orchard in the east, in Eden; and there he placed the man he had formed.The LORD God made all kinds of trees grow from the soil, every tree that was pleasing to look at and good for food.( Now the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil were in the middle of the orchard.)Now a river flows from Eden to water the orchard, and from there it divides into four headstreams.

I went down to the orchard of walnut trees, to look for the blossoms of the valley, to see if the vines had budded or if the pomegranates were in bloom.

All your garments are perfumed with myrrh, aloes, and cassia. From the luxurious palaces comes the music of stringed instruments that makes you happy.

You are a locked garden, my sister, my bride; you are an enclosed spring, a sealed-up fountain.Your shoots are a royal garden full of pomegranates with choice fruits: henna with nard,nard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon with every kind of spice, myrrh and aloes with all the finest spices.You are a garden spring, a well of fresh water flowing down from Lebanon.

Lot looked up and saw the whole region of the Jordan. He noticed that all of it was well-watered( before the LORD obliterated Sodom and Gomorrah) like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, all the way to Zoar.

I will make cedars, acacias, myrtles, and olive trees grow in the wilderness; I will make evergreens, firs, and cypresses grow together in the desert.
