前者亞述王、為利巴嫩之香柏、枝柯繁美、其蔭濃密、其榦崇高、其杪入雲、有水養之、有淵長之、支流四出、灌溉田間諸木、

耶和華上帝植囿於東方之伊甸、置所造之人於其間、耶和華上帝使地生諸樹、觀可娛目、食可適口、當囿之中、有生命之樹、及別善惡之樹、有河流自伊甸、灌溉其囿、中分四支、

書拉密女曰我下至胡桃園以觀谷中鮮綠之植物、而知葡萄萌芽否、石榴著花未、

爾衣薰以藥沒、沈香肉桂、絲絃之樂器、出自象牙之宮、以娛爾兮、

河濱左右、生長各樹、其實可餐、其葉不凋、其果不斷、因水出於聖所、月結新實、果可為食、葉可醫疾、○

我姊妹、我新婦、乃為關鎖之園、有禁之溪、有封之泉、爾之所植、乃石榴園、中有佳果、並有鳳仙花、那達樹、那達水仙、菖蒲桂樹、及諸乳香、沒藥沉香、與芳品之最者、爾乃園中之泉、活水之井、自利巴嫩湧出之川、

時、所多瑪蛾摩拉、未為耶和華所滅、自約但平原、至於瑣珥、土皆潤澤、如耶和華囿、與埃及地等、
