亞述王曾如黎巴嫩中的香柏樹，枝條榮美，影密如林，極其高大，樹尖插入雲中。眾水使它生長；深水使它長大。所栽之地有江河圍流，汊出的水道延到田野諸樹。 (cunpt)

耶和華神在東方的伊甸立了一個園子，把所造的人安置在那裏。耶和華神使各樣的樹從地裏長出來，可以悅人的眼目，其上的果子好作食物。園子當中又有生命樹和分別善惡的樹。有河從伊甸流出來，滋潤那園子，從那裏分為四道： (cunpt)

我妹子，我新婦，乃是關鎖的園，禁閉的井，封閉的泉源。你園內所種的結了石榴，有佳美的果子，並鳳仙花與哪噠樹。有哪噠和番紅花，菖蒲和桂樹，並各樣乳香木、沒藥、沉香，與一切上等的果品。你是園中的泉，活水的井，從黎巴嫩流下來的溪水。 (cunpt)
