Let them be put to shame that persecute me, but let not me be put to shame; let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed; bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.

Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a forest- like shade, and of high stature; and its top was among the thick boughs.The waters nourished it, the deep made it to grow: the rivers thereof ran round about its plantation; and it sent out its channels unto all the trees of the field.

I will put in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia, and the myrtle, and the oil- tree; I will set in the desert the fir- tree, the pine, and the box- tree together:
