那时，耶和华开了巴兰的眼，他才看见耶和华的天使持刀拦在路上，便俯伏在地。

于是，他朝我站的地方走来，当他走来的时候，我吓得俯伏在地。他对我说：“人子啊，你要明白，这异象是关于末后的时期。”他和我说话的时候，我伏在地上昏睡过去，他便轻拍我，扶我起来，

他觉得肚子饿了，想吃东西。那家人正在预备午饭的时候，彼得进入异象，

“后来，我回到耶路撒冷，在圣殿里祷告的时候，进入异象，

彼得还在苦苦思索的时候，圣灵又对他说：“彼得，外面有三个人来找你，

自夸虽然无益，但我不得不继续夸下去，谈谈主给我的异象和启示。我知道一位基督徒在十四年前曾被提到第三层天上，是在肉身之内还是在肉身之外，我不知道，只有上帝知道。我认识这个人，是在肉身之内还是在肉身之外，我不知道，只有上帝知道。他曾被提到天上的乐园里，听见了人不可以言传的隐秘事。

他脱下自己的衣服，在撒母耳面前说起预言来。他赤身躺了一天一夜。因此有句俗语说：“扫罗也在先知当中吗？”

他对我说话时，我低着头，说不出话。后来，有一位样子像人的用手摸我的嘴唇，我便开口对站在我面前的说：“我主啊，因为这异象，我痛苦不堪，毫无气力。

当夜，上帝来对巴兰说：“这些人既然来请你，你就跟他们去吧，但你只可照我说的做。”

太阳下山的时候，亚伯兰睡得很沉，忽然有可怕的黑暗笼罩着他。

异象中所说的两千三百个昼夜是真的。但你要保密，不可告诉别人，因为这指的是遥远的将来。”我但以理精疲力尽，病了几天。后来我起来照常办理王的事务，但我对这异象感到惊奇不已，不明白它的意思。
