Then Balaam saw Amalek and spoke his message:“ Amalek was first among the nations, but their end will be utter destruction.”

Then Balaam saw the Amalekites. He spoke the message he had received from God. He said,“ Amalek was the first nation to attack Israel. But their end will be total destruction.”

Then he looked on Amalek and took up his discourse and said,“ Amalek was the first among the nations, but its end is utter destruction.”

Then Balaam looked over toward the people of Amalek and delivered this message:“ Amalek was the greatest of nations, but its destiny is destruction!”

Then Balaam saw Amalek and proclaimed his poem: Amalek was first among the nations, but his future is destruction.

And he looked at Amalek and took up his discourse and said,“ Amalek was the first of the nations, But his end shall be destruction.”

And he looked on Amalek, and took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; But his latter end shall come to destruction.

After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him and set his seat above all the princes who were with him.

Now it happened, when David and his men came to Ziklag, on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the South and Ziklag, attacked Ziklag and burned it with fire,

So it was, whenever Israel had sown, Midianites would come up; also Amalekites and the people of the East would come up against them.

Then David attacked them from twilight until the evening of the next day. Not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men who rode on camels and fled.

for he said,“ Because the Lord has sworn: the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.”

And he gathered an army and attacked the Amalekites, and delivered Israel from the hands of those who plundered them.

Now Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim.

So the king commanded this to be done; the decree was issued in Shushan, and they hanged Haman’s ten sons.

And David and his men went up and raided the Geshurites, the Girzites, and the Amalekites. For those nations were the inhabitants of the land from of old, as you go to Shur, even as far as the land of Egypt.Whenever David attacked the land, he left neither man nor woman alive, but took away the sheep, the oxen, the donkeys, the camels, and the apparel, and returned and came to Achish.

And they defeated the rest of the Amalekites who had escaped. They have dwelt there to this day.

Now Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, said to the king,“ Look! The gallows, fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke good on the king’s behalf, is standing at the house of Haman.” Then the king said,“ Hang him on it!”So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king’s wrath subsided.

Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”So Saul gathered the people together and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand foot soldiers and ten thousand men of Judah.And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and lay in wait in the valley.Then Saul said to the Kenites,“ Go, depart, get down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them. For you showed kindness to all the children of Israel when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.And Saul attacked the Amalekites, from Havilah all the way to Shur, which is east of Egypt.He also took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.
