Edom will be conquered; Seir, his enemy, will be conquered, but Israel will grow strong.

He’ll win the battle over Edom. He’ll win the battle over his enemy Seir. But Israel will grow strong.

Edom shall be dispossessed; Seir also, his enemies, shall be dispossessed. Israel is doing valiantly.

Edom will be taken over, and Seir, its enemy, will be conquered, while Israel marches on in triumph.

Edom will become a possession; Seir will become a possession of its enemies, but Israel will be triumphant.

Moab is My washpot; Over Edom I will cast My shoe; Philistia, shout in triumph because of Me.”Who will bring me to the strong city? Who will lead me to Edom?Is it not You, O God, who cast us off? And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies?Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless.Through God we will do valiantly, For it is He who shall tread down our enemies.

Then Jacob sent messengers before him to Esau his brother in the land of Seir, the country of Edom.

O God, You have cast us off; You have broken us down; You have been displeased; Oh, restore us again!

Who is this who comes from Edom, With dyed garments from Bozrah, This One who is glorious in His apparel, Traveling in the greatness of His strength?—“ I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”

“ For My sword shall be bathed in heaven; Indeed it shall come down on Edom, And on the people of My curse, for judgment.

By your sword you shall live, And you shall serve your brother; And it shall come to pass, when you become restless, That you shall break his yoke from your neck.”
