Edom will be conquered; Seir, his enemy, will be conquered, but Israel will grow strong.

He’ll win the battle over Edom. He’ll win the battle over his enemy Seir. But Israel will grow strong.

Edom shall be dispossessed; Seir also, his enemies, shall be dispossessed. Israel is doing valiantly.

Edom will be taken over, and Seir, its enemy, will be conquered, while Israel marches on in triumph.

Edom will become a possession; Seir will become a possession of its enemies, but Israel will be triumphant.

“ And Edom shall be a possession; Seir also, his enemies, shall be a possession, While Israel does valiantly.

Moab is My washbowl; I will throw My sandal over Edom; Shout loud, Philistia, because of Me!”Who will bring me into the besieged city? Who will lead me to Edom?Have You Yourself not rejected us, God? And will You not go out with our armies, God?Oh give us help against the enemy, For rescue by man is worthless.Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who will trample down our enemies.

Then Jacob sent messengers ahead of himself to his brother Esau in the land of Seir, the country of Edom.

God, You have rejected us. You have broken us; You have been angry; restore us!

Who is this who comes from Edom, With garments of glowing colors from Bozrah, This One who is majestic in His apparel, Marching in the greatness of His strength?“ It is I, the One who speaks in righteousness, mighty to save.”

For My sword has drunk its fill in heaven; Behold it shall descend for judgment upon Edom, And upon the people whom I have designated for destruction.

And by your sword you shall live, And you shall serve your brother; But it shall come about when you become restless, That you will break his yoke from your neck.”
