巴蘭用詩歌預言說：「比珥之子巴蘭的預言，是眼睛明亮者的話，

他就作歌，說：“比珥的兒子巴蘭說：‘開著眼的人說，

他便發表言論歌來、說：『比珥的兒子巴蘭發神諭說：眼目睜開着的人發神諭說：

乃作歌曰、比珥子巴蘭云、明目者有詞、

乃作歌曰、庇耳子巴蘭、既明其目、

乃作歌曰、比珥子巴蘭曰、目開展之人曰、

Then he spoke his message:“ The prophecy of Balaam son of Beor, the prophecy of one whose eye sees clearly,

Then Balaam spoke the message he had received from God. He said,“ Here is the message God gave Balaam, the son of Beor. It’s the message God gave to the one who sees clearly.

And he took up his discourse and said,“ The oracle of Balaam the son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eye is opened,

This is the message Balaam delivered:“ This is the message of Balaam son of Beor, the message of the man whose eyes see clearly,

Then he proclaimed his poem: The oracle of Balaam son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eyes are opened;

Then he took up his discourse and said,“ The declaration of Balaam the son of Beor, And the declaration of the man whose eye is opened,

So he took up his oracle and said:“ The utterance of Balaam the son of Beor, And the utterance of the man whose eyes are opened;

And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor saith, And the man whose eye was closed saith;

Then he proclaimed his poem: The oracle of Balaam son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eyes are opened;

And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:

Then he uttered this oracle:“ The oracle of Balaam son of Beor; the oracle of the man whose eyes are open;

He took up his parable, and said,“ Balaam the son of Beor says, the man whose eyes are open says;

他便题起诗歌说：“比珥的儿子巴兰说，‘眼目闭住的人说，得听神的言语，得见全能者的异象，眼目睁开而仆倒的人说：

巴兰便题起诗歌说：“巴勒引我出亚兰，摩押王引我出东山，说：‘来啊，为我咒诅雅各；来啊，怒骂以色列。’

约伯接着说：

这是要应验先知的话，说：“我要开口用比喻，把创世以来所隐藏的事发明出来。”

巴兰就题诗歌说：“巴勒，你起来听；西拨的儿子，你听我言。
