“‘ In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

“ Yet I will restore the fortunes of Elam in days to come,” declares the Lord.

“ Yet I will restore the fortunes of Moab in days to come,” declares the Lord. Here ends the judgment on Moab.

“ I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel. He will crush the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of all the people of Sheth.

Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.

They will be herded together like prisoners bound in a dungeon; they will be shut up in prison and be punished after many days.

Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.”

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
