雅各召眾子曰、爾曹集前、我將以後日所遇之事告爾、

我民歟、當追念摩押王巴勒所設之謀、與比珥子巴蘭所對之之言、亦當追念自示亭至吉甲所遇之事、則可知主之恩慈、○

惟天上有天主、能顯示奧秘、以末日必有之事、示尼布甲尼撒王、今王之夢、寢於床所見之異象乃此、今王之夢寢於床所見之異象乃此或作今我以王作之夢王寢於床時所想見之異象告王

然尚有稍可責爾者、因爾中有從巴蘭教者、昔巴蘭教巴拉克、誘惑以色列人食祭偶像之物、且行淫、

爾必受苦、惟勿懼、魔將以爾數人投於獄、致爾被試、爾將受難十日、當盡忠至死、我必賜爾永生之冠冕、

彼與米甸人戰、循主諭摩西之命、殺其諸男、更殺米甸五王、即以未、利金、蘇珥、戶珥、利巴、又以刃殺比珥子巴蘭、以色列人擄米甸人之婦女幼孩、奪其一切牲畜羊群、又奪其所有之貲財、以火燬其所居之城邑、與所有之營、以所奪獲之貲財、所擄掠之人與畜、攜至摩押平原、約但河濱、耶利哥相對之處、欲入營見摩西、與祭司以利亞撒、及以色列會眾、摩西與祭司以利亞撒、並會眾牧伯、出營以迎之、摩西怒由戰而歸之軍長、千夫長、百夫長、謂之曰、爾何為存留婦女、彼曾從巴蘭之計、誘以色列人拜毘珥、得罪於主、以致主之會遇瘟疫、今當以俘囚中一切男子、及與男子已親近之婦女皆殺、凡未嘗與男親近之女、可存留以歸爾、

天主曰、末日、我將以我神賦畀萬民、俾爾子女言未來事、爾幼者觀異象、老者見夢兆、

主曰、雖然、至末日、我將使以攔被擄者旋歸、

主曰、雖然、當末日、我將使摩押被擄者旋歸、被擄者旋歸或作復振興下同論降罰摩押之言、至此已竟、

有我所見、但不屬今時、有我所觀、但不係近日、明星將出自雅各、秉大權者將興自以色列、必攻擊摩押四圍、誅滅塞特諸苗裔、

後以色列人必歸誠、求主其天主、及其王大衛、迨至末日、以敬畏急歸於主、切慕其仁慈、

皆被聚集、囚於獄、禁於牢、多日之後、更受刑罰、

今我來、欲以爾民末日所將遇之事、指示於爾、或作今我來欲使爾知爾民末日必遇之事蓋此異象日久方應、

爾當知末世必有危時、
