雅各召諸子曰、爾其會集、我以日後所遇之事告爾、

我民歟、爾其憶摩押王巴勒所謀、及比珥子巴蘭所以應之、且憶自什亭至吉甲、所遇之事、俾爾知耶和華公義之行為、○

惟在天有上帝、顯示秘奧、彼以末日必有之事、示尼布甲尼撒王、王在牀所得之夢、及所見之異象乃此、

然我有數端責爾、因爾處有持巴蘭之訓者、昔巴蘭訓巴勒投躓石於以色列民前、使食祭像之物並行淫、

勿懼爾將受之苦、魔將投爾中數人於獄以試之、爾將受難十日、宜忠信至死、我則賜爾以維生之冕、

遂遵耶和華所諭摩西之命、與米甸戰、殲其丁男、又殺米甸五王、以未、利金、蘇珥、戶珥、利巴、亦以刃戮比珥子巴蘭、以色列人虜其婦孺、奪其牛羊、及其貨財、所居之城邑、暨營壘、燬之以火、貨財人物、刦之以歸、以所虜之人與財物、攜至摩押平原、約但河濱、耶利哥相對之營壘、詣摩西及祭司以利亞撒、與以色列會眾、○摩西及祭司以利亞撒、暨諸會長、出營以迓、摩西見自陳而歸之軍長、千夫長、百夫長、怒之曰、爾生存眾婦乎、彼從巴蘭之謀、使以色列族因奉毘珥、干罪於耶和華、致疫行於耶和華之會、當殺幼穉中諸男、並殺與男同寢諸婦、惟未與男同寢之幼女、爾可為己存其生命、

上帝曰、末時、吾將注吾神於凡有血氣者、爾之子女、將預言、幼者觀象、老者見夢、

然至末日、我必返以攔之俘囚、耶和華言之矣、

耶和華曰、惟至末日、我必返摩押之俘囚、論摩押受鞫、其言至是而止、

我見之不於今日、我觀之非在近時、有一星焉、自雅各家而出、有一杖焉、自以色列而興、擊破摩押之隅、殲滅鼓譟之士、

厥後以色列人、必轉求其上帝耶和華、及其王大衛、迨至末日、以寅畏歸於耶和華、蒙其慈惠、

咸被拘集、如囚聚於囹圄、禁於監獄、歷日既久、則必受罰、

今我來此、俾爾知爾民末日所遭之事、蓋此異象、歷多日始應也、

季世有危時將至、爾宜知之、
