From the rocky peaks I see them, from the heights I view them. I see a people who live apart and do not consider themselves one of the nations.

I see them from the rocky peaks. I view them from the hills. I see a group of people who live by themselves. They don’t consider themselves to be one of the nations.

For from the top of the crags I see him, from the hills I behold him; behold, a people dwelling alone, and not counting itself among the nations!

I see them from the cliff tops; I watch them from the hills. I see a people who live by themselves, set apart from other nations.

I see them from the top of rocky cliffs, and I watch them from the hills. There is a people living alone; it does not consider itself among the nations.

For I see him from the top of the rocks, And I look at him from the hills; Behold, a people that lives in isolation, And does not consider itself to be among the nations.

Do not be afraid, Jacob my servant, for I am with you,” declares the Lord.“ Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only in due measure; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.” (niv)

For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises made to the patriarchs might be confirmedand, moreover, that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written:“ Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles; I will sing the praises of your name.”Again, it says,“ Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.” (niv)

who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. (niv)

remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, (niv)

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (niv)
