Then King Balak said to Balaam,“ Come, I will take you to one more place. Perhaps it will please God to let you curse them from there.”

巴勒对巴兰说：“来吧，我领你往别处去，或者神喜欢你在那里为我咒诅他们。”

巴勒对巴兰说：“来，我领你到别的地方，或许上帝喜欢你在那里为我诅咒他们。”

巴勒对巴兰说：“来，我领你到别的地方，或许神喜欢你在那里为我诅咒他们。”

巴勒说：“来吧，我带你去另一个地方，也许上帝会同意你在那里为我咒诅他们。”

巴勒对巴兰说：“你来，我领你到另一个地方去，或者神喜欢你，你就可以在那里为我咒诅他们。”

巴勒對巴蘭說：「來吧，我領你往別處去，或者神喜歡你在那裏為我咒詛他們。」

巴勒對巴蘭說：『來吧，我領你到別處去，或者上帝喜歡你從那裏為我咒詛他們。』

巴勒曰、爾來、我將引爾之他、庶幾上帝使爾於彼、為我詛之、

巴勒曰、爾來、我引爾至他所、庶幾上帝使爾於彼、咒詛其族。

巴勒謂巴蘭曰、求爾來、我導爾至他處、或者天主許爾於彼、為我咒詛斯民、

Then Balak said to Balaam,“ Come, let me take you to another place. Perhaps it will please God to let you curse them for me from there.”

Then Balak said to Balaam,“ Come. Let me take you to another place. Perhaps God will be pleased to let you put a curse on the Israelites for me from there.”

And Balak said to Balaam,“ Come now, I will take you to another place. Perhaps it will please God that you may curse them for me from there.”

Again Balak said to Balaam,“ Please come. I will take you to another place. Maybe it will be agreeable to God that you can put a curse on them for me there.”

Then Balak said to Balaam,“ Please come, I will take you to another place; perhaps it will be agreeable with God that you curse them for me from there.”

Then Balak said to Balaam,“ Please come, I will take you to another place; perhaps it will please God that you may curse them for me from there.”

And Balak said unto Balaam, Come now, I will take thee unto another place; peradventure it will please God that thou mayest curse me them from thence.

Again Balak said to Balaam,“ Please come. I will take you to another place. Maybe it will be agreeable to God that you can put a curse on them for me there.”

And Balak said unto Balaam, Come, I pray thee, I will bring thee unto another place; peradventure it will please God that thou mayest curse me them from thence.

Balak said to Balaam,“ Come, please; I will take you to another place. Perhaps it will please God to let you curse them for me from there.”

Balak said to Balaam,“ Come now, I will take you to another place; perhaps it will please God that you may curse them for me from there.”

For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.

Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish.I will call a swift bird of prey from the east— a leader from a distant land to come and do my bidding. I have said what I would do, and I will do it.

Then King Balak told him,“ Come with me to another place. There you will see another part of the nation of Israel, but not all of them. Curse at least that many!”

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?Listen, I received a command to bless; God has blessed, and I cannot reverse it!

But once he has made his decision, who can change his mind? Whatever he wants to do, he does.

“ I am the Lord, and I do not change. That is why you descendants of Jacob are not already destroyed.

You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.

The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has spoken— who can change his plans? When his hand is raised, who can stop him?”

No human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against the Lord.
