There is no divination against Jacob, no evil omens against Israel. It will now be said of Jacob and of Israel,‘ See what God has done!’

There isn’t any magic that can hurt the people of Jacob. No one can use magic words to harm Israel. Here is what will be said about the people of Jacob. Here is what will be said about Israel. People will say,‘ See what God has done!’

For there is no enchantment against Jacob, no divination against Israel; now it shall be said of Jacob and Israel,‘ What has God wrought!’

No curse can touch Jacob; no magic has any power against Israel. For now it will be said of Jacob,‘ What wonders God has done for Israel!’

There is no magic curse against Jacob and no divination against Israel. It will now be said about Jacob and Israel,“ What great things God has done!”

For there is no magic curse against Jacob, Nor is there any divination against Israel; At the proper time it shall be said to Jacob And to Israel, what God has done!

“ For there is no sorcery against Jacob, Nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob And of Israel,‘ Oh, what God has done!’

Surely there is no enchantment with Jacob; Neither is there any divination with Israel: Now shalt it be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!

There is no magic curse against Jacob and no divination against Israel. It will now be said about Jacob and Israel,“ What great things God has done!”

Surely[ there is] no enchantment against Jacob, neither[ is there] any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!

So he said to them,“ I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.Look, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions and on the full force of the enemy, and nothing will hurt you.

At that time we laughed loudly and shouted for joy. At that time the nations said,“ The LORD has accomplished great things for these people.”The LORD did indeed accomplish great things for us. We were happy.

And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? For this reason they will be your judges.

When Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he did not go as at the other times to seek for omens, but he set his face toward the wilderness.

In fact, I brought you up from the land of Egypt, I delivered you from that place of slavery. I sent Moses, Aaron, and Miriam to lead you.My people, recall how King Balak of Moab planned to harm you, how Balaam son of Beor responded to him. Recall how you journeyed from Shittim to Gilgal, so you might acknowledge that the LORD has treated you fairly.”

The Israelites killed Balaam son of Beor, the omen reader, along with the others.

So now, please come and curse this nation for me, for they are too powerful for me. Perhaps I will prevail so that we may conquer them and drive them out of the land. For I know that whoever you bless is blessed, and whoever you curse is cursed.”So the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the fee for divination in their hand. They came to Balaam and reported to him the words of Balak.

and all people will fear. They will proclaim what God has done, and reflect on his deeds.

Now when Jesus realized what they were thinking, he said to them,“ Every kingdom divided against itself is destroyed, and no town or house divided against itself will stand.

“ As in the days when you departed from the land of Egypt, I will show you miraculous deeds.”

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.

“ Now, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of the land of Egypt with great power and made a name for yourself that is remembered to this day– we have sinned and behaved wickedly.

More and more believers in the Lord were added to their number, crowds of both men and women.

So the chief priests and the Pharisees called the council together and said,“ What are we doing? For this man is performing many miraculous signs.

The whole group kept quiet and listened to Barnabas and Paul while they explained all the miraculous signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them.

They were only hearing,“ The one who once persecuted us is now proclaiming the good news of the faith he once tried to destroy.”So they glorified God because of me.

So that huge dragon– the ancient serpent, the one called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world– was thrown down to the earth, and his angels along with him.

For from you the message of the Lord has echoed forth not just in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place reports of your faith in God have spread, so that we do not need to say anything.For people everywhere report how you welcomed us and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God

Who acts and carries out decrees? Who summons the successive generations from the beginning? I, the LORD, am present at the very beginning, and at the very end– I am the one.

saying,“ What should we do with these men? For it is plain to all who live in Jerusalem that a notable miraculous sign has come about through them, and we cannot deny it.

Through all that they suffered, he suffered too. The messenger sent from his very presence delivered them. In his love and mercy he protected them; he lifted them up and carried them throughout ancient times.But they rebelled and offended his holy Spirit, so he turned into an enemy and fought against them.His people remembered the ancient times. Where is the one who brought them up out of the sea, along with the shepherd of his flock? Where is the one who placed his holy Spirit among them,the one who made his majestic power available to Moses, who divided the water before them, gaining for himself a lasting reputation,

with respect to Jesus from Nazareth, that God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with him.

The God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

Now many miraculous signs and wonders came about among the people through the hands of the apostles. By common consent they were all meeting together in Solomon’s Portico.

to the one who divided the Red Sea in two, for his loyal love endures,and led Israel through its midst, for his loyal love endures,and tossed Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea, for his loyal love endures,to the one who led his people through the wilderness, for his loyal love endures,to the one who struck down great kings, for his loyal love endures,and killed powerful kings, for his loyal love endures,Sihon, king of the Amorites, for his loyal love endures,Og, king of Bashan, for his loyal love endures,

How great is your favor, which you store up for your loyal followers! In plain sight of everyone you bestow it on those who take shelter in you.

O God, we have clearly heard; our ancestors have told us what you did in their days, in ancient times.You, by your power, defeated nations and settled our fathers on their land; you crushed the people living there and enabled our ancestors to occupy it.For they did not conquer the land by their swords, and they did not prevail by their strength, but rather by your power, strength and good favor, for you were partial to them.

And I will put hostility between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring; her offspring will attack your head, and you will attack her offspring’s heel.”
