There is no divination against Jacob, no evil omens against Israel. It will now be said of Jacob and of Israel,‘ See what God has done!’

There isn’t any magic that can hurt the people of Jacob. No one can use magic words to harm Israel. Here is what will be said about the people of Jacob. Here is what will be said about Israel. People will say,‘ See what God has done!’

For there is no enchantment against Jacob, no divination against Israel; now it shall be said of Jacob and Israel,‘ What has God wrought!’

No curse can touch Jacob; no magic has any power against Israel. For now it will be said of Jacob,‘ What wonders God has done for Israel!’

For there is no magic curse against Jacob, Nor is there any divination against Israel; At the proper time it shall be said to Jacob And to Israel, what God has done!

“ For there is no sorcery against Jacob, Nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob And of Israel,‘ Oh, what God has done!’

Surely there is no enchantment with Jacob; Neither is there any divination with Israel: Now shalt it be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!

He said to them,“ I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning.Look, I have given you the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy; nothing at all will harm you.

Our mouths were filled with laughter then, and our tongues with shouts of joy. Then they said among the nations,“ The LORD has done great things for them.”The LORD had done great things for us; we were joyful.

And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons drive them out? For this reason they will be your judges.

Since Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he did not go to seek omens as on previous occasions, but turned toward the wilderness.

Indeed, I brought you up from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from that place of slavery. I sent Moses, Aaron, and Miriam ahead of you.My people, remember what King Balak of Moab proposed, what Balaam son of Beor answered him, and what happened from the Acacia Grove to Gilgal so that you may acknowledge the LORD’s righteous acts.

Along with those the Israelites put to death, they also killed the diviner, Balaam son of Beor, with the sword.

Please come and put a curse on these people for me because they are more powerful than I am. I may be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land, for I know that those you bless are blessed and those you curse are cursed.”The elders of Moab and Midian departed with fees for divination in hand. They came to Balaam and reported Balak’s words to him.

Then everyone will fear and will tell about God’s work, for they will understand what he has done.

Knowing their thoughts, he told them,“ Every kingdom divided against itself is headed for destruction, and no city or house divided against itself will stand.

I will perform miracles for them as in the days of your exodus from the land of Egypt.

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.

Now, Lord our God— who brought your people out of the land of Egypt with a strong hand and made your name renowned as it is this day— we have sinned, we have acted wickedly.

Believers were added to the Lord in increasing numbers— multitudes of both men and women.

So the chief priests and the Pharisees convened the Sanhedrin and were saying,“ What are we going to do since this man is doing many signs?

The whole assembly became silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul describe all the signs and wonders God had done through them among the Gentiles.

They simply kept hearing,“ He who formerly persecuted us now preaches the faith he once tried to destroy.”And they glorified God because of me.

So the great dragon was thrown out— the ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the one who deceives the whole world. He was thrown to earth, and his angels with him.

For the word of the Lord rang out from you, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place that your faith in God has gone out. Therefore, we don’t need to say anything,for they themselves report what kind of reception we had from you: how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God

Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I am the LORD, the first and with the last— I am he.”

saying,“ What should we do with these men? For an obvious sign has been done through them, clear to everyone living in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.

In all their suffering, he suffered, and the angel of his presence saved them. He redeemed them because of his love and compassion; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of the past.But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. So he became their enemy and fought against them.Then he remembered the days of the past, the days of Moses and his people. Where is he who brought them out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put his Holy Spirit among the flock?He made his glorious strength available at the right hand of Moses, divided the water before them to make an eternal name for himself,

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how he went about doing good and healing all who were under the tyranny of the devil, because God was with him.

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

Many signs and wonders were being done among the people through the hands of the apostles. They were all together in Solomon’s Colonnade.

He divided the Red Sea His faithful love endures forever.and led Israel through, His faithful love endures forever.but hurled Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea. His faithful love endures forever.He led his people in the wilderness. His faithful love endures forever.He struck down great kings His faithful love endures forever.and slaughtered famous kings— His faithful love endures forever.Sihon king of the Amorites His faithful love endures forever.and Og king of Bashan— His faithful love endures forever.

How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you. In the presence of everyone you have acted for those who take refuge in you.

God, we have heard with our ears— our ancestors have told us— the work you accomplished in their days, in days long ago:In order to plant them, you displaced the nations by your hand; in order to settle them, you brought disaster on the peoples.For they did not take the land by their sword— their arm did not bring them victory— but by your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, because you were favorable toward them.

I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.
