Then Balak said to him,“ Please come with me to another place where you can see them. You will only see the outskirts of their camp; you won’t see all of them. From there, put a curse on them for me.”

巴勒说：“求你同我往别处去，在那里可以看见他们；你不能全看见，只能看见他们边界上的人。在那里要为我咒诅他们。”

巴勒对他说：“请你跟我到别的地方，在那里可以看见他们。你只能看见他们的一部分，却不能看见全部。请你在那里为我诅咒他们。”

Then Balak said to him,“ Come with me to another place where you can see them; you will not see them all but only the outskirts of their camp. And from there, curse them for me.”

Then Balak said to Balaam,“ Come with me to another place. You can see the Israelites from there. You won’t see all of them. You will only see the outer edges of their camp. From there, put a curse on them for me.”

And Balak said to him,“ Please come with me to another place, from which you may see them. You shall see only a fraction of them and shall not see them all. Then curse them for me from there.”

Then King Balak told him,“ Come with me to another place. There you will see another part of the nation of Israel, but not all of them. Curse at least that many!”

Then Balak said to him,“ Please come with me to another place from where you may see them, although you will only see the extreme end of them and will not see all of them; and put a curse on them for me from there.”

Then Balak said to him,“ Please come with me to another place from which you may see them; you shall see only the outer part of them, and shall not see them all; curse them for me from there.”

And Balak said unto him, Come, I pray thee, with me unto another place, from whence thou mayest see them; thou shalt see but the utmost part of them, and shalt not see them all: and curse me them from thence.

Then Balak said to him,“ Please come with me to another place where you can see them. You will only see the outskirts of their camp; you won’t see all of them. From there, put a curse on them for me.”

Balak said to him,“ Please come with me to another place from which you can observe them. You will see only a part of them, but you will not see all of them. Curse them for me from there.”

Balak said to him,“ Please come with me to another place, where you may see them. You shall see just part of them, and shall not see them all. Curse them from there for me.”

Then the man of God approached and said to the king of Israel,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ Because the Arameans have said,“ The LORD is a god of the mountains and not a god of the valleys,” I will hand over all this whole huge army to you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’”

Balak son of Zippor, king of Moab, set out to fight against Israel. He sent for Balaam son of Beor to curse you,

Now the king of Aram’s servants said to him,“ Their gods are gods of the hill country. That’s why they were stronger than we were. Instead, we should fight with them on the plain; then we will certainly be stronger than they are.

With the tongue we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in God’s likeness.Blessing and cursing come out of the same mouth. My brothers and sisters, these things should not be this way.

He loved cursing— let it fall on him; he took no delight in blessing— let it be far from him.

My people, remember what King Balak of Moab proposed, what Balaam son of Beor answered him, and what happened from the Acacia Grove to Gilgal so that you may acknowledge the LORD’s righteous acts.

In the morning, Balak took Balaam and brought him to Bamoth-baal. From there he saw the outskirts of the people’s camp.
