Balak said to Balaam,“ What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have blessed them altogether.”

巴勒对巴兰说：“你向我做的是什么事呢？我领你来咒诅我的仇敌，不料，你竟为他们祝福。”

巴勒对巴兰说：“你向我做的是什么呢？我带你来诅咒我的仇敌，看哪，你竟为他们祝福。”

巴勒对巴兰说：“你这是做什么？我请你来咒诅我的仇敌，你竟祝福他们！”

巴勒对巴兰说：“你向我作的是什么事呢？我领你来咒诅我的仇敌，你反倒给他们祝福。”

巴勒對巴蘭說：「你向我做的是甚麼事呢？我領你來咒詛我的仇敵，不料，你竟為他們祝福。」

巴勒對巴蘭說：「你向我做的是甚麼呢？我帶你來詛咒我的仇敵，看哪，你竟為他們祝福。」

巴勒對巴蘭說：「你向我做的是甚麼呢？我帶你來詛咒我的仇敵，看哪，你竟為他們祝福。」

巴勒對巴蘭說：「你這是做什麽？我請你來咒詛我的仇敵，你竟祝福他們！」

巴勒對巴蘭說：“你向我作的是甚麼事呢？我領你來咒詛我的仇敵，你反倒給他們祝福。”

巴勒對巴蘭說：『你待我的是怎麼回事呢？我領你來咒詛我的仇敵；你看，你竟全給他們祝福了！』

巴勒謂巴蘭曰、爾於我何為、我召爾詛敵、爾竟祝之、

巴勒謂巴蘭曰、惡、是何言與、我召爾詛敵、爾反祝之。

巴勒謂巴蘭曰、爾向我如此行何耶、我召爾咒詛我敵、爾反為之祝福、

Balak said to Balaam,“ What have you done to me? I brought you to curse my enemies, but you have done nothing but bless them!”

Balak said to Balaam,“ What have you done to me? I brought you here to put a curse on my enemies! But all you have done is give them a blessing!”

And Balak said to Balaam,“ What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have done nothing but bless them.”

Then King Balak demanded of Balaam,“ What have you done to me? I brought you to curse my enemies. Instead, you have blessed them!”

“ What have you done to me?” Balak asked Balaam.“ I brought you to curse my enemies, but look, you have only blessed them!”

Then Balak said to Balaam,“ What have you done to me? I took you to put a curse on my enemies, but behold, you have actually blessed them!”

Then Balak said to Balaam,“ What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, and look, you have blessed them bountifully!”

And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether.

“ What have you done to me?” Balak asked Balaam.“ I brought you to curse my enemies, but look, you have only blessed them!”

And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed[ them] altogether.

Then Balak said to Balaam,“ What have you done to me? I brought you to curse my enemies, but on the contrary you have only blessed them!”

Balak’s anger burned against Balaam, and he struck his hands together. Balak said to Balaam,“ I called you to curse my enemies, and, behold, you have altogether blessed them these three times.

because they didn’t meet the children of Israel with bread and with water, but hired Balaam against them, to curse them; however our God turned the curse into a blessing.

‘ Behold, the people that has come out of Egypt covers the surface of the earth. Now, come curse me them. Perhaps I shall be able to fight against them, and shall drive them out.’”

Yes, he loved cursing, and it came to him. He didn’t delight in blessing, and it was far from him.He clothed himself also with cursing as with his garment. It came into his inward parts like water, like oil into his bones.Let it be to him as the clothing with which he covers himself, for the belt that is always around him.This is the reward of my adversaries from Yahweh, of those who speak evil against my soul.

He took up his parable, and said,“ From Aram has Balak brought me, the king of Moab from the mountains of the East. Come, curse Jacob for me. Come, defy Israel.How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? How shall I defy whom Yahweh has not defied?

for I will promote you to very great honor, and whatever you say to me I will do. Please come therefore, and curse this people for me.’”
