Jacob’s people are like the dust of the earth. Can dust be counted? Who can count even a fourth of the Israelites? Let me die as godly people die. Let my death be like theirs!”

你看那纯全正直、爱好和平的人，他们前途美好。

我要使你的后代多如地上的尘土，人若能数算地上的尘土，才能数算你的后代。

耶和华的眼目顾惜祂圣民的死亡。

你的后代必多如地上的尘沙，遍布四方，地上万族必因你和你的后代而蒙福。

我们知道，我们的身体好比是地上的帐篷，如果毁坏了，我们就从上帝那里得到一个住处，不是人手造的，而是天上永恒的“房屋”。

我的生命如同奉献在祭坛上的酒正倾倒出来，我离世的日子快要到了。那美好的仗，我打过了；当跑的路，我跑完了；所信的道，我持守住了。从此，有公义的冠冕为我预备，按公义审判的主会在祂来的那一天把它赐给我，不但会赐给我，也会赐给所有爱慕祂显现的人。

那时，这必朽的身体要变成不朽的，这必死的要变成不死的。当这一切发生的时候，就应验了圣经上的话：“死亡被胜利吞灭了。”“死亡啊！你得胜的权势在哪里？死亡啊！你的毒钩在哪里？”死亡的毒钩就是罪，罪借着律法施展它的权势。但感谢上帝，祂使我们靠着主耶稣基督得胜。

没有人关心义人的死亡，没有人明白虔诚人的去世。其实义人去世是脱离灾难。这些正直的人得享平安，在坟墓里得到安息。

我听见天上有声音说：“你将下面的话写下来，从今以后，那些为主而死的人有福了！”圣灵说：“是的！他们将得享安息，不再劳苦。他们工作的成果必随着他们。”

因为对我来说，活着是为了基督，死了也有益处。如果活在世上，我可以做工，多结果子。我真不知道该怎么选择！我处在两难之间。我情愿离开世界，与基督在一起，那实在是再好不过了。

以法莲营区共十万八千一百人，他们是第三队。

但营区共有十五万七千六百人，他们是后队。

我觉得应当趁着我还在世的时候提醒你们，激励你们，因我知道自己离世的日子已经不远了，正如我们的主耶稣基督指示我的。我要尽力使你们在我离世以后仍然常常记得这些事。

犹大营区的人共十八万六千四百人，他们是开路先锋。

我必赐福给你，使你的后裔多如天上的星和海边的沙。你的后裔必占领仇敌的城池，

吕便营区共十五万一千四百五十人，他们是第二队。

“主啊，现在你的话已经成就，可以让你的奴仆安然离世了，因为我已亲眼看到你的救恩，

因此，谁都不要仗着人夸耀，因为万物都属于你们，无论是保罗、亚波罗、彼得、世界、生命、死亡、现在的事或将来的事都属于你们，

恶人因恶行而灭亡，义人到死仍有倚靠。
