“ Spend the night here,” Balaam said to them,“ and I will report back to you with the answer the Lord gives me.” So the Moabite officials stayed with him.

And he said to them,“ Lodge here tonight, and I will bring back word to you, as the Lord speaks to me.” So the princes of Moab stayed with Balaam.

“ Stay here overnight,” Balaam said.“ In the morning I will tell you whatever the Lord directs me to say.” So the officials from Moab stayed there with Balaam.

He said to them,“ Spend the night here, and I will give you the answer the LORD tells me.” So the officials of Moab stayed with Balaam.

And he said to them,“ Spend the night here, and I will bring word back to you just as the Lord may speak to me.” And the leaders of Moab stayed with Balaam.

And he said to them,“ Lodge here tonight, and I will bring back word to you, as the Lord speaks to me.” So the princes of Moab stayed with Balaam.

And he said unto them, Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as Jehovah shall speak unto me: and the princes of Moab abode with Balaam.

He said to them,“ Spend the night here, and I will give you the answer the Lord tells me.” So the officials of Moab stayed with Balaam.

And he said unto them, Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as the LORD shall speak unto me: and the princes of Moab abode with Balaam.

He replied to them,“ Stay here tonight, and I will bring back to you whatever word the LORD may speak to me.” So the princes of Moab stayed with Balaam.

He said to them,“ Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as Yahweh shall speak to me.” The princes of Moab stayed with Balaam.

你栽種了他們，他們也扎了根，並且長大，結出果實；他們的口中有你，心裡卻沒有你（“他們的口中有你，心裡卻沒有你”原文作“你與他們的口很接近，卻離他們的心很遠”）。

巴蘭回答，說：“耶和華傳給我的話，我怎能不謹慎說呢？”

耶和華說：“現在你們要聽我的話，如果你們中間有先知，我耶和華必在異象中向他顯現，在夢中與他說話。

他們成群來到你那裡，坐在你面前，像是我的子民一樣。其實他們聽了你的話，卻不去行；他們只是用口表示愛慕，他們的心卻是追隨不義之財。

現在請你們今夜也住在這裡，等我得知耶和華還要向我說甚麼。”當夜，神來到巴蘭那裡，對他說：“這些人既然來請你，你就起程與他們同去，但是你只要遵行我吩咐你的事。”
