The next morning Balak took Balaam up to Bamoth Baal, and from there he could see the outskirts of the Israelite camp.

耶和华说：“我要灭绝摩押那些在丘坛献祭和向假神烧香的人。

耶罗波安却为丘坛、公山羊像和他造的牛犊像设立他自己的祭司。

那些女子邀他们参加祭祀，他们吃了祭物，并跪拜她们的神明，结果使以色列与巴力·毗珥苟合。耶和华大怒，

希实本烈焰熊熊，西宏的城火光冲天，烧毁摩押的亚珥，吞噬亚嫩河的高岗。
