耶和华的使者对他说：“你为什么这三次打你的驴呢？看哪，是我来敌挡你，因为你走的路在我面前邪僻。

耶和华的天使对他说：“你为何三次打你的驴？我特意来阻挡你，因为你走的路在我眼中是邪路。

耶和華的使者對他說：「你為甚麼這三次打你的驢呢？看哪，我出來敵對你，因為這路在我面前已經偏離了。

耶和華的天使對他說：「你為何三次打你的驢？我特意來阻擋你，因為你走的路在我眼中是邪路。

耶和華的使者對他說：“你為甚麼這三次打你的驢呢？看哪，是我來敵擋你，因為你走的路在我面前邪僻。

永恆主的使者對他說：『你為甚麼這三次擊打了你的驢呢？看哪，是我出來敵擋你的，因為你對着我逆行了路。

使者曰、三策爾驢何也、爾所行者逆我、故我出以禦爾、

使者曰、三策爾驢何也、爾所行者違逆於我、故我出以禦爾。

主之使者謂之曰、爾三次策驢、何也、爾行此道逆我、故我出以阻爾、

The angel of the Lord asked him,“ Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me.

The angel of the Lord spoke to him. He asked him,“ Why have you hit your donkey three times? I have come here to oppose you. What you are doing is foolish.

And the angel of the Lord said to him,“ Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out to oppose you because your way is perverse before me.

“ Why did you beat your donkey those three times?” the angel of the Lord demanded.“ Look, I have come to block your way because you are stubbornly resisting me.

The angel of the LORD asked him,“ Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? Look, I came out to oppose you, because I consider what you are doing to be evil.

Then the angel of the Lord said to him,“ Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out as an adversary, because your way was reckless and contrary to me.

And the Angel of the Lord said to him,“ Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out to stand against you, because your way is perverse before Me.

And the angel of Jehovah said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I am come forth for an adversary, because thy way is perverse before me:

The Angel of the Lord asked him,“ Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? Look, I came out to oppose you, because what you are doing is evil in My sight.

And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because[ thy] way is perverse before me:

The angel of the LORD said to him,“ Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? Look, I came out to oppose you because what you are doing is perverse before me.

Yahweh’s angel said to him,“ Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out as an adversary, because your way is perverse before me.

神因为巴兰去就发怒；耶和华的使者站在路上敌挡他。那时他骑着驴，有两个仆人同行。

他们满眼淫色，而且不住地犯罪。他们引诱心志不坚固的人。他们的心习惯了贪婪，是应当受咒诅的族类。他们离弃正路，走入歧途，跟从了比珥的儿子巴兰的道路。这巴兰贪爱不义的工价，

他把食物赐给走兽，也赐给啼叫的小乌鸦。

行为完全的，必蒙拯救；行事狡诈的，必立刻跌倒。

何况这尼尼微大城，其中不晓得分辨左右手的有十二万多人，并且有许多牲畜，我怎能不爱惜呢？”

耶和华开了驴的口，驴就对巴兰说：“我向你作了什么，你竟打我这三次呢？”

“牛在踹谷的时候，不可笼住它的嘴。

你的公义好像大山，你的公正如同深渊；耶和华啊！人和牲畜，你都庇佑。

行事正直的，敬畏耶和华；行为乖僻的，却藐视他。

因为你们出埃及的时候，他们没有拿食物和水在路上迎接你们，又因为他们从两河之间的亚兰的毗夺雇了比珥的儿子巴兰，来攻击你，咒诅你。

耶和华的使者对巴兰说：“你与这些人同去吧，但是你只要说我吩咐你的话。”于是巴兰与巴勒的领袖一同去了。

当夜，神来到巴兰那里，对他说：“这些人既然来请你，你就起程与他们同去，但是你只要遵行我吩咐你的事。”

耶和华的使者从荆棘丛里的火焰中向摩西显现。摩西观看，看见荆棘被火烧着，却没有烧毁。摩西说：“我要到那边去，看看这大异象，这荆棘为什么烧不掉？”耶和华见摩西要到那边去观看，神就从荆棘丛里呼叫他，说：“摩西，摩西。”摩西说：“我在这里。”耶和华说：“不可过到这里来；要把你脚上的鞋脱掉，因为你所站的地方是圣地。”又说：“我是你父亲的神、亚伯拉罕的神、以撒的神、雅各的神。”摩西因为怕见神，就把自己的脸蒙住了。

说：“你这充满各样诡诈和各样奸恶的人，魔鬼的儿子，公义的仇敌！你歪曲了主的正路，还不停止吗？

行为完全的穷人，胜过行事狡诈的财主。

耶和华善待万有，他的怜悯临到他一切所造的。

我的民哪！你们要追念，摩押王巴勒图谋过什么，比珥的儿子巴兰又答应了他什么，以及你们从什亭到吉甲所发生的事，好使你们知道耶和华公义的作为。”
