耶和華之使、於棘火焰中顯現。摩西見棘焚而不燬、曰、我必回步履、睹此異象、棘焚不燬、曷故。耶和華上帝見摩西回步履、則自棘中呼之曰、摩西、摩西。曰、我在此。曰、爾勿前、解爾履、爾立之所乃聖地。又曰、我乃爾祖之上帝、即亞伯拉罕之上帝、以撒之上帝、雅各之上帝、摩西蒙其面、不敢覲上帝。
